Is there an upgrade to Redemption

Hi, I'm currently at level 38...Redemption cons grey to me now at AppIV. Is there an upgrade to Redemption that I can expect anytime soon ?   My guild has an Adept 1 Redemption available should I take it ? Thanks, Kow <div></div>

There is no upgrade for Redemption, so i suggest grabbing that adept 1 while its there. Its a great spell and you will find yourself using all the way up to level 50.

<P>Still using (so gray it hurts my eyes) at 50.  It works well most of the time and when coin is available an adept 3 would be merited since its just tier 3.  Prices on some of the Jasper/Paladium on my server are dropping pretty nice.  I've been planning to upgrade mine for some time, but get side tracked way to much--putting on my to do list for tonight.</P> <P>Thanks,<BR>Kalen</P>

Its blue to me and I rarely use it.  Doesn't seem necessary unless you're in a group where someone isn't trying to not get themselves killed.  I think the only time I really used it I had a tank 5 levels below me kept taunting nonstop no matter how much I told him not to.  Every now and then he'd pull aggro if I got even slightly lazy (he was REALLY trying).  Being that he was 5 levels under me he would take quite a beating.  So i just cast redemption on him and problem solved.  He could taunt all he wanted a sizeable amount of that hate went to me. <div></div>

<P>I've never used it, either.  The times I lost aggro are when I die, when berserkers had that berzerk proc 100%, or when I wasn't 50, when group mates were at 4+ levels higher than me.  It's certainly a viable way to go to get aggro, but there are many other ways that don't take up conc. slots.</P>

<P>Get the Adept I by all means. And look for an opportunity to Adept III it. It may be tier 3 and grey and all, but it definitely adds to your repertoire. It's not an earthshattering advantage, but you have an extra nice tool to manage aggro if need be. You know, our taunts are not the best and we need to use other means like group buffs to maintain hate. In this light, redemption definitely helps.</P> <P>I don't want to say you should keep it up constantly. That would be silly. But if you tank and have somebody in the group who constantly drags aggro, willingly or not, slap it over him. No matter how good you are and how many you taunt and buff, but the wizard finishing a HO with ice comet (silly thing to do, but some want to beat their personal damage records), or the assassin dishing out his fullest damage potential <EM>inevitably will drag aggro earlier or later</EM>. In these cases redemption is a very nice thing to have.</P> <P> </P>
