Found this in the abilities forum.

Can anyone else confirm or refute this?

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spellart&message.id=52919

Basically he says, if you have multiple spell based procs, only 1 will actually work.

On my 48 Conjuror, I can confirm that multiple procs are indeed working. I have personally seen a Guardian proc 4 effects on a pull with an arrow, Short Sword of the Ykesha, Polished Granite Tomohawk, Infernus Seed, and some disease/poison proc from a Warlock. I have also seen both the Wizard and Conjuror proc spells activate on the same hit.

As my 28 Paladin, I have Glorious Weapon up constantly, and I still collect large stacks of Penitent Essences.

Also, 2 spells cast by me will both proc... Infernus Seed and Vexation (pet buff) can both be procced by my pet.

Message Edited by Jgok on 06-16-2005 09:44 PM

As a Paladin, we have spells with similar effects, namely Penitent Sacrament and Blessed/Glorious Weapon. My post specifically noted that while Glorious Weapon is up, I can still collect Penitent Essences, so Paladin spells with procs do not have the same problem as Shadowknight procs.

Jgok wrote:

As my 28 Paladin, I have Glorious Weapon up constantly, and I still collect large stacks of Penitent Essences.

The rest of my post came in two parts, the first illustrating that procs from multiple sources will stack with each other...

Jgok wrote:
On my 48 Conjuror, I can confirm that multiple procs are indeed working. I illustrated that a Paladin's proc effects will stack (except Blessed with Glorious, which is obviously intended). I also illustrated that proc effects from multiple sources (2 items, 1 Warlock spell, and 1 Conjuror spell). I then closed by showing another example of 2 proc effects from a single caster that stacked.

While only one line of my original post applied specifically to Paladins, I believe the entire post was very germane to the discussion at hand... That discussion being whether multiple proc spells are correctly stacking with each other.

blessed weapon also has nothing to do with essences, sacrament does and its a chance on being hit. Nothing to do with offence............ I wouldnt trust him as a tank lol

Might I just point out that what you are calling Penitent Sacrament, you actually mean Blessing of the Pentinent. The former spell is the actual heal, whereas the latter is the spell that is always running and generating Penitent Essences.

I'm not in front of my computer, but I was iffy on the name of the spell. The original intent of the post still stands, of course.

Ok point taken Jgok. I was under the impression that the SK spells in question were Damage procs like our line of self only dmg procs. What I was trying to say is that Paladins can not have multiple dmg procs working at the same time...now I can see how this would be so for Blessed Weapon being upgraded by Glorious Weapon but my concern is with our lvl 20 trait for self procs. I forget the name off hand but in this form I think they should stack considering it is a special trait compared to just another spell....at the very least there should be a comment about the inability to stack in the description so as not to waste a trait choice on it. I will /bug until I get some kind of answer from the devs. :smileymad:
Message Edited by Alinon79 on 06-21-2005 09:54 AM
