<DIV> <DIV>Greetings, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I wanted to enter some feedback about the Paladin's Holy- and Shadowknight's Unholy mount.  I would think that these mounts which are supposed to be special and mystical in nature should have a look that sets them apart from normal horses.  In addition, these mount are only equal to J-boots (Journeyman's Boots), +10% increase in speed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would like to suggest that these mounts get better as the Crusader (Paladin/Shadowknight) gains levels. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The look of the mount would change slightly every 10 levels.  For instance, the unholy mount could start with horns or barding at 20th level, then gaining glowing firey-red eyes at 30th, flaming hooves at 40th, et cetera.  For the paladin's horse, it could shed light as a torch at 20th, and the light's intensity would increase every 10 levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In addition, the mount could gain an addition +5% to its speed every 10 levels (10% at 20th, 15% at 30th, 20% at 40th, et cetera) to a maximum of +25% at 50th level.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With these changes, maybe you would see more paladins and shadowknights riding their respected mounts instead of them using a Spirit Totem of the Wolf that grants near unlimited SoW (Spirit of the Wolf) which is +24% speed increase and costs an average of 75 silver on a broker.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Terdrayke Frosthammer - Barbarian Paladin/Antonia Bayle</DIV> <DIV>Sanguinary E'Velahr - Erudite Shadowknight/Antonia Bayle</DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV>

<div></div>Meh, where are the people complaining that combat is trivalised as people can outdistance mobs, have you ever seen anyone get off their Misty Mustang etc to harvest? The Holy Mount nerf was all about snobery, mounts are a status symbol. With the incomming combat changes we may find some of our abilities defunct. Rather than asking for a mount line, why not a line of mounted combat arts: keep the "fluff" horse, which people can upgrade if they wish but add combat arts to use while mounted? That said there are probably higher priorities for abilities that we need, taunts etc. <div></div><p>Message Edited by TroodonIE on <span class=date_text>06-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:37 PM</span>

In my opinion our lvl 20 horse is a fluff spell and should remain that way.  As it is Crusaders are pretty much the only classes that get ANY use out of their fluff spells.  If you want a fast/useful horse demand it as an expansion spell or buy one at the stables.  But the level 20 horse needs no positive changes. <div></div>

In my opionion i think there is no need to change the mounts for Paladins/Shadowknights, it would only cause more hassle & complaints from other classes. I would not mind the appearance change in them to show that they our for a Paladin/Shadowknight and our not bought from the horsey man but i cant see SoE making a big effort to change them. Also your solution of the speed increasement would be 100% unfair to other classes, 25% at lvl50 would have just saved a paladin 2pp on buying a horse which increases the speed by 24%, when i have enough money saved up i am going to upgrade my horse because 10% increased speed doesnt seem to do much for me & i rarely summon horse unless travelling long distances. <div></div>
