Just a quick note, if you have the Splitpaw Sage Pre-ordered, or if you a Station Access user, the new Splitpaw Sage Instance, in TS is decent xp even at higher levels. I took 2 runs through it and got around 16% in about an hour (maybe a little more), and about 3 Adept Loot drops (plus 1 45+ crafting book)...I also hear they added tradeskill stuff this morning to the corpse loot, so might want to check it out if you have access. Again I am L49, so even at higher levels 8% approx per run through isn't bad at all. Mobs range from 47 - 50 v in groups or solo...the solo gnolls seems to hit for a lot more then the grouped ones (even had to use LoH when I got 2 solo on me), but I thought the instance was nicely designed, and offered a decent challenge for higher levels. <div></div>

I second this, I did two runs through Delving and one through Captive Audience solo last night, and dinged 46 in the process. I haven't gotten XP that quickly from solo groups in 10 or 15 levels, it's very sweet (and has some nice loot). *sshhh*

<P>Hmmm, i ran through this zone once, and didnt see one thing drop off the mobs, not even body loot. Im guessing it could be because im level 50, and they havent added a loot table for the level 51 gnolls yet? Or maybe i was just really unlucky. </P> <P>__________</P> <P>This was before they started resetting the zones- im guessing they fixed this.</P> <p>Message Edited by TheGreatStoney on <span class=date_text>06-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:48 AM</span>

I was under the impression that anyone can get into Captive Audience by being abducted by the abductors at one of the zone-ins, but that only pre-orders can get into Delving. Some good (and humorous) ways to get abducted are <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=splitsaga&message.id=727" target=_blank>here</a>. Also, there's no charge on one's credit card until the adventure pack ships, so there is the option of pre-ordering, playing, and cancelling, if one were so inclined.

<DIV>Just to add an additional point, I was there today and received a Master chest from a solo L50 Gnoll....didn't drop anything I can use (Shiv Master 1), but it's still a pretty good drop <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>So this would be a good thing for me to do at level 31?  I have been doing exclusively Zek since I hit 30.  I can solo about 10-12% xp there and hour and make decent coin from Threat Reduction tasks.  I am getting kind of tired from being in Zek all the time <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>With vitality, i was getting just under 10% a trip through. If you bypass the box stacking and the wall exploding and focus just on clearing the mobs, you can move through fairly quick. I didn't time it but it can't be taking me more than 30-40 mins to clear the zone, maybe less if i don't go afk for some reason. To save time, once you kill the last mob, camp to the character select screen and relog your toon. You will appear in TS right outside the terraporter. Sure beats running all the way back to the terraporter in the instance only to appear in TS a mile away from the entrance. Not to mention, the money you can earn is great, was even lucky enough to get a couple adepts i've been needing. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Decimate</DIV> <DIV>48 Paladin</DIV> <DIV>Bloodlines</DIV> <DIV>Unrest</DIV>

Indeed it is a very good XP place, but also good loot drops... I fought my way out at level 26/27 and got a RIpped Rukas Blanket, which I later got made into a +10 sta hex doll. They dropped a load of canvas stuff too. I havent pre-ordered the expansion yet, I may do in the near future if its going to be a larger cave in which you are captured. <div></div>

<P>Phov,</P> <P>I have read mixed accounts regarding XP post 50.  My XP bar currently shows 0% XP and its been that way for several weeks.  Ironically enough, I've played more in the past two weeks "grinding" then ever before.  I have a group of friends 48 and 49 that I'm helping get to 50.</P> <P>I had been told the most XP debt you can incur is 1%--that is wrong as I've had up to 5%.<BR>I was told your XP bar would grow to 100% but that you would not ding level 51 until the expansion pack and at that time you would auto ding 51 the day it was released.  Based on 0% XP when I dinged 50 and 0% XP weeks later, I question this theory and have little faith.  HOWEVER .. I continue to harvest on a regular basis.  Our skill should be 250 at level 50.  Last night, I harvested for about 30 minutes waiting for a group and found my skill was now upgraded to 252/252 indicating I had reached a short possible 20-30% increase into my level like you did at sub 50 levels.</P> <P>I can also say that at 50 when you do get debt, even though your XP stays at 0%, you do work off the debt through collection quests and likewise combat.  I would suggest that you do NOT turn in any collections after level 50 as you could visit old Mervos in North Qeynos the day the expansion pack is released and probably earn, based on collections you still have to turn in 20-50% into 51 and if we really do ding 51 at expansion, that would progress you that much further into 52.</P> <P>I guess we'll have to wait and see when tier 6 hits on how our XP will update.  I'm guessing we'll be 0% to 51, but who knows maybe the combat xp we acquire to remove debt is invisible to us on the XP meter but is still being calculated.</P> <P>Thanks,<BR>Kalen</P>

<P>Oh yeah--gratz on 50 Phov!</P> <P>To celebrate, I decided to finish up my Bixie Lore and Legend so I solo'd the Tower of Drafling instance off Rivervale.  It was a VERY long solo event with mostly 43-45^^ some gray mostly green mobs, but I did 3 quests inside, explored every inch of the zone and did in fact complete the L&L quest for a nifty magic wand for my house that looks better then Elementary Mastery IMHO.    </P> <P>I started soloing this zone at 49 working to 50, but each time I would get half way to the railroad tracks and end up leaving to work with my guild--I like this zone a lot and was trying to map it for EQ2 Maps as it's not listed.  I plan to go back with a few guildies soon to zone in and out until the queen is up as I'd like to take down that mob plus they need the 40 heritage "By Hook or By."</P> <P>Thanks,<BR>Kalen</P>
