<DIV>I have two pristine imbued bloostone rings (STR/STA).  I usually wear them 24/7 and don't substitute alternates after casting the buff.  However, I was wondering if any Paladins have purchased a ring for each stat modifier like STR, AGI, STA, INT, WIS for the sole purpose of cycling through the buffs?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The concept would be:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. Equip two different rings and cast your buffs (what everyone is already doing)</DIV> <DIV>2. Then ... equip two different rings and cast both buffs</DIV> <DIV>3. Rinse and repeat until you have all stat modifiers increased </DIV> <DIV>4. Finally, put on your two favorite until the buffs are up at which time you'd rinse and repeat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd love to be able to macro that puppy <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm in the process of upgrading my bloodstone rings to ruby rings, but sold the first two rubies I harvested to finance my ebon leggings.  Perhaps the cheaper bloodstone rings would make the above method feasible and more cost effective just to pickup buffs?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,<BR>Kalen</DIV>

<DIV>That would be perfect, if the buffs were longer and if it didn't take so long to cast. The down time of switching out rings and activating them would be a bummer for me, but I'm kinda lazy sometimes, haha.</DIV>

I probably use the method most people do.... Normal Ring slots are Looted Ruby Rings (not the legandary ruby crafted rings), I cycle out my Crude Stamina and Strength rings (crude because they cost 14g, compared to pristine which cost 25g +, and no use to buy pristine, when I am wearing the other rings normally). buff my str and stam....cycle back out my Ruby rings. With the 2 buffs, and also Agility and Str/Sta potions, I near 200 str solo without any other buffs, and > 160 stamina...this is also only with 1 hex doll (+7 str) since I haven't bought a couple legandary ones, since I am saving for a new Helmet (my rubicite is blue atm) Add say another +5 str and +12-14 Stamina and I think I have some pretty decent stats for a solo paladin <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> - now just to get one of those 800+ Shield Factor Fabled Kite Shield <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   <div></div>

<P>I tend to pay less attention to when my two ring buffs are about to run out and I cast them on the move when either the groups mana is very low and downtime is inevitable or we are traveling from point A to point B and I mentally confirm I have enough time to cast both before we arrive.</P> <P>Certainly switching to different rings would change that tactic, but the bonus stats might be nice especially for solo play.  As an example I'm getting nice STR and STA from the two rings I have now.  I wonder how much better it would be for both WIS and AGI to be included in the formula.</P> <P>25 gold for tier 5 common imbued rings?  Ouch!  I picked up both of mine on Najena for 10 gold each.  I have noticed that most have climbed up to about 14-18 gold range recently.  I guess I need to retire Kalen from the battlefield for a few tradeskill vitality days and finish up 50 Jeweler (38 atm).  Everything seems to be high priced these days, so I feel for you.  A buddy sharing housing with me moved into his own pad last night so I thought it would be nice to help him decorate--20+ gold for flooring options and wall options?  Old starter city furniture that was 8 silver is now 10+ gold player crafted?  Ouch! again!</P> <P>Thanks,<BR>Kalen</P> <p>Message Edited by SanJun on <span class=date_text>06-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:02 PM</span>

<P>I use str and sta rings on my paly, swaping them in for the buffs, swapping them out again.</P> <P>For my beserker alt, I use str, sta, and agi, again swapping them in and out for the buffs. They can be cast on the run so not that big a deal.</P> <P>I do it anyway with stat potions. They are a little nicer as str and sta is one potion.</P>
