<DIV>So I've got my Frogloks, and I'm now a level 24 Paladin/24 Mystic. I've not had too much trouble holding aggro with the Paladin, even against Fighters several levels higher than me (thanks to Blinding Light Master 1). I'm taking a look at my current aggro-generating abilities, and this is what I've found that I use the most for aggro...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U>Direct Taunts</U></DIV> <DIV>Inflame (Adept 1): single-target hate increase</DIV> <DIV>Blinding Light (Master 1): encounter AE hate increase</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U>Hate-increasing Attacks</U></DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Chesgard's Divine Portent (Adept 2): single-target hate increase</DIV></DIV> <DIV>Unyielding Advance (Apprentice 4): single-target hate increase</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U>Hate-Affecting Buff</U></DIV> <DIV>Redemption (Adept 1): transfers hate from target to to caster (2 Conc)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U>Others (no specific hate component)</U></DIV> <DIV>Blessed Aid (Apprentice 4): generates aggro on everything attacking group</DIV> <DIV>Demonstration of Faith (Adept 1): generates aggro on everything attacking group</DIV> <DIV> <DIV>Divine Inspiration (Adept 1): generates aggro on everything attacking group</DIV>Lay on Hands (Apprentice 4): generates aggro on everything attacking group</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><U>AE Attacks</U></DIV> <DIV>Cry of Conviction (Apprentice 4)</DIV> <DIV>Divine Wrath (Adept 1)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Am I missing anything in this evaluation of my aggro generation abilities? If there a tool I'm not using that I should be?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also have a question regarding Redemption... It acts like a buff, taking 2 concentration slots, but is worded in a way that suggests it only takes effect at the moment it is cast. I've been using it according to the wording of the spell, dropping it on a character when they get aggro and then removing it once I have aggro back. If I leave Redemption up on someone, is it constantly siphoning a portion of the hate they generate, or is it doing nothing?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EDIT: almost forgot about Unyielding Advance <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EDIT AGAIN: Added heal and group buff per suggestions, also added PBAE attacks, as they seem to help the "Aggro bounce at first mob death" problem.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Jgok on <span class=date_text>06-09-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:01 PM</span>

<div></div>Your heals and wards draw aggro on every mob attacking your group. Your group and self buffs draw aggro on every mob attacking your group. Most of all though, the biggest way to manage aggro is maintaining proper distance from the mobs to your support/nukers.  Proximity is a HUGE factor. I usually cast it on a mage or healer (depending on how much external healing I need). <div></div>
