Hi all, i just dinged 40, and need to know what jelewery to buy so il tell you current equipment & what i think is best but like to see other peoples opinions. Also 80% of the time i am the MT for groups, so im not looking to improve my dps. Neck: Collar Of Obediant (+10 str, +10 sta, +350 resist poison, -350 resist disease) very nice stats, but i see a lot of people using necklace of flowing orbs would this be recommended instead of this? Earring: Haddens Earring, dont think need to mention stats on this, I dont see any other better earrings on the game other than fabled for my class. Rings: Ancient Slayer Ring Of Stamina (+9 sta, +5 agi, 3% increased attack speed) Ancient Slayer Ring Of Agility (+9 agi, +5 sta, 3% increased attack speed) Now IMO these our very nice rings, have nice stats & nice ability, now im always thinking would it be better to get Pristined Imbued Bloodstone Rings, and if so which would i choose Agility/Stamina/Strength? Bracelets: Braclet Of Shiny Shards x2 (+6sta, +4 agi, +3str) some stats along those lines, now the only upgrade i see from these is Bracelets of Glowing Shards, or is there a better improvement? Belt: Evol Bandilier (+7 str, +7 agi, +4wis) only improvement to this seems to be Flowing Black Sash, which i am working on at the moment Activateable: Need to choose here, for being a tank most of the time, what combination of hex dolls would you advise? Weapon: Im quite happy with just an imbued fulginate sword atm, looking for soul harvest or ebon imbued weapon for the future. Shield: Shiny Brass Sheild seems the right shield for me unless theres a great & cheap improvement to it. Armour: Not To worried bout, just upgrading to ebon step by step simple as. Thanks for help all. <div></div>

The reason I say this is because for only 2 str and sta you'll be getting 360 mental resistance which is VERY helpful in the long run(getting mezzed sucks). Fishbone Earring is gonna be the best non-fabled earring for our class. Rings - I'd go with imbued bloodstone rings of sta and agi because the rings have +5sta +5agi plus a proc of +11. In the long run it'll make up for the 3% haste. Bracelets - go with dual glowing shard bracelets for sure. Belt - FBSS is quite nice. Shield - SBS for sure. Armor - I wouldn't upgrade to ebon sabatons to ebon because of jboots but thats your choice really. As for hex dolls I'd go with sta and agi. Weapon If you plan on raiding alot when you get 45+ then use an ebon for the Bone Baded Claymore, its Legendary so it can hit the mobs and if and when you upgrade to Prismatic it will sell for alot more than a playermade ebon weapon. -Jeauno level 43 Paladin of Nektulos</span><div></div><p>Message Edited by Kyle420 on <span class=date_text>06-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:44 AM</span>

<DIV> <DIV>As to the weapon of choice for an MT, I reccommend the Screaming Mace wholeheartedly. The power proc is amazing and goes off at least once per battle and allows you to use your taunts and arts more often. When I tank against multiple mobs I always use these in succession and whenever they become available - AoE taunt, Blinding Bash, 2 AoE attacks (Ancient Wrath and Doom Judgement). That usually takes a lot of power but the SM help a lot when it procs. I saved my first ebon for the imbued chest piece rather than an imbued weapon b/c I believe the SM is better for tanking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Equip the Manastone in ur activateable slot and use it whenever your health is in the green and you want power; I use it whenever I can in battle. For the other activateable slot, I would reccommend an agi hex doll.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Amulet of the Far-runner (+6 sta, +6 agi, +2 str, +2 wis) is another good alternative for the neck slot at level 44. Whatever the case though, I dont believe Collar of the Obedient is a good choice because of the lack of resists. Selecting Kasine's Enlightened Piety as your level 40 training spell will also bestow a significant amount of agi, in addition to other stats like str, sta, and wis.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Your first ebon will go to the chest piece but you can replace most of the other slots with rubicite armor when you find them on the broker at a decent price. Jboots for the feet slot and a Tae Ew Scale Helm (+7 sta, +8 str) for the head slot that I received after finishing a series of solo quests from the good npcs camp in Feerrott.</DIV></DIV>

<P>Don't get 2 Bracelet of Glowing Shards. Do the Draftling Tower access quest and the rewards is Treedin's symbol (neck/wrist). It can't be worn till 44 I believe but its nice and free. You can hold out with what you've got till then. Enchanted bone necklace definately for the neck slot, but don't just buy it...get the bones. The xp reward on that is like 7% or something. </P> <P>I never ended up getting a SoT so I had a pristine imbued ebon assault axe made. It's the best ebon 1hander and since you tank alot, allows you to use the SBS. I also ended up getting a pristine imbued ebon warhammer (server first) for raid mobs resistant to slash. Of course now I mainly use the Prismatic Greatsword of the Scale but until I upgrade to a fabled 1hander I'm very glad I had the assault axe made.</P> <p>Message Edited by Walnutt on <span class=date_text>06-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:26 AM</span>

<DIV>For your hex doll question, it depends on how often you are alone. If you solo often, your best choice probably would be 2 +str dolls, giving you more power and damage on your combat arts. Otherwise, if you group often, you would be best served by getting dolls to supplement your lowest stats. For most, this is Sta.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since all of the imbued rings don't have to be worn, you should get as many as you can as well. They can be cast on the run and last 24 minutes each. I carry around str, sta, and agi and buff myself when I am running around. </DIV>
