<div></div>One night out of the week I duo with a friend of mine who plays a Templar of my same level (26), but during the rest of the week I usually have to solo.  Most of our time has been spent in the southern or western parts of TS, in Stormhold, or in the Crypt of Betrayal. My question is: of these three places, which have you found to be the best in terms of solo xp?  Or, is there another place that is better in the late 20s?  RoV perhaps?  I've never been there, so I don't know.  Any insight or suggestions would be much appreciated. <DIV>I almost hate to give up this little gem but hey we are all Paladins <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I see most duo/trio groups in the 26 through early 30 range messing with giants in Thundering Steppes.  However, my alt character group (Assassin, SK, Inquisitor) spent a lot of our mid 20's through 27/28 in the basement of Stormhold (not the library), the level below the armory.  If you go towards the chess board and head down a side hall way, you'll enter a room with a well.  Jump down the well (long drop) and you'll end up in water at the bottom with a lot of white - orange ^^ mobs.  As you travel the cavern-like passage way you'll come up on a pool of water surrounded with goo-like mobs.  They are NON-AGGRO and they are incredible XP!  We often achieved 2+ % xp per kill.  Instead of fighting the masses in TS for giants and waiting for the next spawn or covering volumes of terrain chasing a giant pop, just kill a cube (goo) and wait until your health/power is full and rinse and repeat.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are probably 10-15 goo in the body of water that are all double up mobs and by the time you kill about 6-8, they will respawn.  We leveled 2-3 times on a Saturday and never left the pool of water.  The only downtime is your wait for full health/mana, but once the first few gnolls along the way are clear it's NON-AGGRO the rest of the way.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As you approach the later 20's Ruins of Varsoon (ROV) is a great place to group up for XP.  There's a lot happening in that zone including boat ride access quest advancement, heritage quest updates galore, tons of bone/beetle/shard collection goodies, access quests to places like COD - Cove of Decay and much more.  Download a map if you don't have one and start studying up.  Tanks are always welcome in ROV <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Of course if you've completed boat ride EL and Zek are new grouping options for XP.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good luck!</DIV> <DIV>Kalen</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>P.S. I forgot to mention that while visiting the goo-pool in the basement of Stormhold there were dozens of players in zone each visit and after staying for hours on end several different visits, I've yet to see another player wander into that part of the zone.  It's like your private hunting honey hole that never runs out of mobs if you're the right level.  If you can't work your way out when you're done-gate home!</DIV><p>Message Edited by SanJun on <span class=date_text>05-26-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:54 AM</span>

<P>Since I fall smack dab in the level range you are looking for....here is what I am currently doing.</P> <P>Solo: Ride up and down the road just west of Varsoons killing the grouped Steelhooved Invaders.  Very nice XP, no real risk.  Anywhere from 1 - 1.5% per encounter.  </P> <P>Duo: This is far, far more efficient.  Either the Crypt of Betrayal killing Corrupt Essences or RoV killing spiders and clay's right in the first couple of hallways.  In this config we are getting 2% (which has to be the level max for me at 27) per encounter.</P> <P>I have so many active quests atm, that just about anything I kill advances something. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

Once you are 27 or so, the orcs outside the dock area in Zek are pretty good xp and plentiful. <div></div>
