The Official Cross-server Paladin Channel

If your Paladin channel is anything like the one on Crushbone, it's pretty sparse. This is also a relatively stable server.<b>Note #1:</b> The /whochannel command now shows channel members across all servers, the old Note #1 is moot.<b>Note #2:</b> Links now work across servers, so this note is no longer an issue (but we still recommend <a target="_blank" href="http://www.eq2idb.com">EQ2iDB</a>).<p>Message Edited by WAPCE on <span class="date_text">03-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:03 PM</span></p>

Anyone can join, just run the command in the first post. I probably should've called it the "unofficial official channel," as you won't see it in the list, and it's a cross-server channel, residing on Crushbone.

I thought nobody was in the channel beacuse /whochannel <my channel number for Crushbone.PaladinsforRight> returned only Dwergux. But later I noticed some chatter, but still only me in the whochannel, so I guess whochannel doesn't work cross-server.. It might be worth saying something in the Paladin channels on everyone's own servers, for the people who don't read the forum. Is this channel working?In the last few days it seems to have been bugged.It is not in my channel list, but when I recheck it in the chat / channel options, it tells me I can't join it because I am in it, but I am not in it I am told when I try to talk in the channel number it used to be.

Im also having the same problem, i leave all channels, do leave crushbone.paladinsforright, and it say i leave it, but when i try to log on, it keeps saying im already in channel and i cant join. Any idea what's the problem i think it started after the last patch like a week ago or something like that.

It's a growing problem with a lot of (or all custom) channels that the chat team is aware of. The best bet is to /petition to get your ghost kicked off the channel so you can rejoin, or to send a message to TSR-JasonC in the tech forum. There's a couple threads about it in there as well. I have one of my characters locked out of the PaladinsforRight channel and another world channel because of a client crash.

I petitioned (However, there's no real 'Chat Problem' in the ticketing window, so I chose character issue) and a GM contacted via ticket update. They asked I delete some .ini files which didn't work.</P> <P>Not really a big surprise there, but they need to follow procedure. They next suggested I try /leavechannel all. Also, clearly, to no effect and something I'd not only tried before, but had mentioned trying. Per posts in the Tech Support seciton of this forum, I informed them my character needed to be manually removed from the worldwide channel Crushbone.PaladinsForRight.</P> <P>The GM's responded again... Giving me troubleshooting information on how to 'close an existing chat window'. Umm.. what? It's a channel problem, not a chat window problem. My chat windows are bloody fine. Getting somewhat Irate, I suggested humbly that the next GM please read my complaint and asked for my issue to be escalated.</P> <P>Another response. They needed to log into my account and were seeking my permission to do so. My password would be auto-reset, and hopefully they would be able to discover the problem. Well, my password was indeed reset, so when I get home today I'll try logging on and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.</P> <P> </P>

I personally dropped the Channel, tired of the whining, I am personally feeling pretty good with EoF, it seems that, well my DPS has gone up, my heal power has gone up, my resists have gone down, but with the new AA's go right back to where they were, and I can tank just fine, did a HoS run, with myself as the MT, things went very smoothly ...so GL all

This channel still is alive and well.  Feel free to come on in.  Plenty of regulars in the channel. Occasionally, you'll find the channel broke and will have to leave the channel and rejoin. Odd thing that can happen.

last few updates screwed up the ui interface for a lot of people, the channel is up and running well. the jealousy every time the shield of the green dragon is posted, is very much alive and well.
