Blessed Weapon/Glorious Weapon

<P>Blessed Weapon and Glorious weapon look like the same buff. They both give a % chance to proc divine damage and they both use the same icon. But Blessed Weapon is a spell while Glorious Weapon is a combat art and they don't use the same timer. </P> <P>Which leads me to the question, do they stack? I can put them both up at the same time, but I have no way of telling if they proc more or less often if both are up instead of just one. </P> <P>A friend suggested I check the combat text so I logged a few fights, but I couldn't see where either of them had proc'd at all whether I was using one or the other or both. So that makes me wonder if the buffs do anything at all.</P> <P>Any ideas? <DIV>well i know for sure they both work, at least when only 1 is turned on. maybe they are cancelling each other out? i have not tried it with both on at once, so i cant say for sure. i always assumed they do not stack. this would really only be useful if you are the 2ndary tank due to the complete lack of dps that blessed would add later on, so i wouldnt stew on it too much.</DIV>

<DIV>With a 7% chance of going off I should have seen it at least once in an hour or so of fighting. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm using Berik which procs lightning damage and I saw it go off 8 or 9 times. Could it be possible that procs in general don't stack?</DIV>

If you're looking for it in the combat dialouge, glorious/blessed weapon are used when it says "soandso was struck with a hold weapon!"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>also, i've never tested if they stack (doubtful) but the point of them is that glorious weapon replaces blessed weapon, as u can see it does more dmg and has a better %.</DIV>

The message of each is different. Proc of Berik's is "your magic bolt hits..." Proc of glorious weapopn is "Your blessed weapon hits...."</span><div></div>

<P>I have a question regarding these. I am a new to the game and still trying to figure all the nuances of the my pally's combat arts.</P> <P>With that said do you use Blessed Weapon/Glorious Weapon during the actual fight or are they considered pre-fight buffs? I noticed thay flash when I start an HO and was just curious.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>mostly you use them before fights. if you notice when they flash, so do your actual attacks, those are what you want to use for HOs. they flash just because thats the type of skill/spell they are, doesnt mean you have to use them rather than soemthing else flashing.</DIV>
