View Full Version : Has DOF/ Zeal ward be nerfed, or is it just now that the guys I take on hit to hard?

<DIV>I have noticed that my DOF spell or Zeal now, doesn't seem to last like it use to. Before it use to ward for the full time period and take damage the whole time, now I notice that ones it has used up all the 384 damage that the buff give, which with a double up blue can be 1 or 2 hits, the ward is gone. Is it just me or has it always been like this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lvl 30 Pally</DIV>
<P>I has all been that way, the harder mobs are hitting u for more now.</P> <P>The ward last for 1) full time, mobs not hitting for all the ward hp</P> <P> 2) short time, mobs are hitting u for lots of hp, once the ward hp are up it drops</P>

<DIV>I't sucks really once u hit the higher end game your heals/wards become useless, they are supposed to make up for our lower avoidance and mitigation being lower but take up way too much power. At level 50 using both take's up 300 power and stops about 1300 in damage finding yourself "lop" on higher mobs is quite common making manna buffers not a bonus but a necessity. This is an issue I wish we pallies bring to the attention of the devs. If guards can survive the mob, zerkers can kill the mob faster and pallies are supposed to heal and ward too make up the difference why does it cost so much power to do this?</DIV>

This is an issue I wish we pallies bring to the attention of the devs. If guards can survive the mob, zerkers can kill the mob faster and pallies are supposed to heal and ward too make up the difference why does it cost so much power to do this?</div><hr></blockquote>i sorta agree with you and sorta disagree with you. i got both the ward and heal on adept 3 and *$%#&! they chew up power fast, i think pallies are the best at everything when we have power, but i feel so useless when i run out of power, and ward-heal chew up my power like crazy. i hate it how zerkers can maintain aggro just by having a *$%#&! buff on and us pallies have to TRY really hard to maintain the aggro. i so want a mezzer in the guild because when i am grouped with a lvl 50 coercer i feel almost invincible. but again, think about other class, they don't have the option to heal EVEN IF they have the spare power. you can probably imagin how many times a tank would think "*$%#&! if i can just heal myself just a a little bit". well we can do that and it's a good thing... i think... it's too early, none of these is making any sense to me.</span><div></div>
