I mean do you do healing of toons that are injured or assist others who have broken encounters and need help? I enjoy it. I don't roleplay in the sense of saying "thee" and "thou" but I do try to be a paladin.

I do heal people that need it as I am wandering by. I haven't had the occasion to help out people in broken encounters beyond that very often.

LOL I tried the thee and thou route but my personality inhibits me being serious and not crackin' on to the ladies!

Seriously though, it seems like second thought now, but whenever I see someone running or resting from a bad encounter my finger has already twitched on the heal button. What I can't do is heal an insanely crazy nut who is running from an encounter and is running here there and everywhere. This is the main reasons why:

A) I can't click on him/her

B) Funny enough I can't chase them because my crappy horse only runs at 10% Speed bonus

C) When they have 12 trained but non-agroed mobs that are white and up, all you will do is get yourself killed due to Heal-Agro

Going to buy me a 24% speed mount so I can be more effective...poor Pally mount, wish you could mount something like that....errr not the Horse but a Spell Plaque or something

Helping those in distress used to be easy when our mounts had the speed, but alas, now we either get there too late or can't risk it as we have no power after the chase and no longer have the ability to ride off into the sunset with a pack of nasties in hot pursuit

Most definately. Additionally it is a very common misconception that you have to use 'thee and thou' etc to RP. The only beings in all of norrath I have seen speak that way are the frogloks.

Most people in Norrath just TALK. Why would roleplaying mean you have to talk silly? RP is about portraying a concept/personality of a character and interacting as that 'person' in the worlds setting.

If you save those in need, heal the injured and oppose evil, hey your ROLEPLAYING yor Paladin.

Most NPC's in Qeynos speak just like we do, just with sillier voices...

This thee and thou ain't made fer me. Me's a dwarf, and as such of course me says ya, ye and yer. Thee and thou are more fer pansy races, like elves and such. :smileyvery-happy: Or them silly frogs. Seriously, and joke aside, if I see an opportunity to roleplay a paladin, I will do it. However I won't seek it actively. But if somebody runs by with a train of broken encounters I can handle, I will pull it. I will also heal and rez (now that I can do it) people in need.

Yar due to my time constraints I tend to solo my Dwarf Paladin a great deal and I am always looking to help someone in need. 2 of my best online friends was made that way. they needed a mob that was in a crowded area so I watched there back and cleared any adds while they got what they needed. Only thing I miss is my ale effects hehe nothing like a drunk dwarven paladin out to do a good deed for the day.
New paladin here. I know about the heal spell but rez? At what level do we get it?

Paladins get a rez spell at level 44 automatically (don't need to buy). It arrives in apprentice 1 form and as far as I know can not be upgraded. I haven't been online in a few days to confirm but I believe at 45 it's making the dead rise at about 40 percent their health.

Thanks,

Kalen
