<DIV><FONT size=1>I know i'm gonna sound like an idiot, but can someone tell me if wisdom is the stat they use to determine a pally's power?? i thought i read in an update a long time ago that they changed the crusader stat that determines it to STR, and that led me to believe that they changed teh pally one too, its so hard to figure it out w/ just changing equipment now that everything has to be attuned so you never know what stats compare w/ new/old equip unless you attune it, and i cant find the information anywhere... so if anyone knows plz?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>Awden Pureblade,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>Paladin of the 31st Circle ~~ Toxxulia server</FONT></DIV>

Our power is determinded by BOTH our strength and our wisdom scores. although strength seems to count more to the power pool, while having a high wisdome seems to help with reducing "fizzles" and spell casting in general. <div></div>

What role does Intelligence play in power pool/damage dealt/etc.?

I thought INT affects some of the saves.  Can't remeber which(think mental and magic) but I think it is in the online guide.

I did testing and can finally say that WIS absolutely sucks for Power, don't even think about comparing it to STR if you have a choice. For every point of STR you add, you get about 8 power. For every point of WIS, you get...a little over one point of power. It's horrible, and I spent so much time trying to balance both since the manual stated both count for Paladins. I never realized how lop-sided it was until I finally took off my armor and tested it with various pieces. To know I didn't catch on to this until mid-40s is shameful, b/c I did the same as you and asked on these boards, never with a definitive answer or ratio. WIS may help with fizzles, but that's so rare anyway in combat (assuming you've kept the skill up) that it's worthless to me when choosing between that or STR (power and dam), STA (HP) or AGI (Avoidance). Kind of puts the Guard of Grumm in a whole new light. - Ravynn 47 Paladin <div></div>

A Paladin must admit when he's wrong, so... I confused STA with STR when talking about power increase. STR actually gives a little over 3 power per point of STR, whereas WIS only gives a little over 1. So the point is the same, STR is still way overpowering, but I had them mixed up before, so sorry for that. - Ravynn <div></div>
