Please give you opinion on armor choices for a new lvl 30 paly

I'm sure it exists here somewhere, but work is really boring today, so....Going to ding 30 very soon and I am still wearing my AQ armor.  I have accumulated a good sum of gold and i would like your opinions on what to but when i reach 30.  Armor, shield, etc....If you have quest suggestions to get items , armor, jewelry, etc....around this lvl, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions as well. <DIV>Feysteel is by far the best,  especially imbued,  or at least excluding master drops.    Then there is fairly common looted and quested armors but you cant get a full set until lvl 34,  after that is feyiron,  which is wha tI suggest you start off with until you cna accumulate looted armors or have the money/clusters for feysteel</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>for shields,  guard of grumm is the best,  but very rare drop from I dont know where,  imbued pristine oak is very good, but again  requires a rare.    otehr than that there are three fairly common looted shields you can get,   snapper kite shield is one of them,  all have same stats but diff lvls</DIV>

If you have the coin Id personally recommend seeing whether you can assemble a set of Silvril with a imbuded Feysteel greaves and Curicass. The Guard of Grumm is from the the Nekutopolos Castle quest "The Aroma of Undead". Where does the Snapper shell kite shield come from? <div></div>

<DIV>Unless you already have a character over level 40, or you spend a LOT of time grinding out trash to sell, you can forget about getting Feysteel armor at level 30.  A Feyiron chest piece will typically cost you around 2 gold, while a Feysteel chest piece will typically cost you around 30+ gold, closer to 50+ gold if it's imbued.  Which can you afford at level 30, more than 2pp or less than 12gp?  The average Joe will take Feyiron every single time, because the cash required for Feysteel is simply unobtainable at those levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or, you can just level up to 31, take the cheap way out, and get a suit of Orc Marauder armor to [Removed for Content] along with.  :smileywink:</DIV>
