not to mention HO combinations with fighter/scout classes.

Have the figher start the HO and the scout advance the combat wheel. It's important to teach some of the scouts how to "flip" the combat wheel to the nice boot damaging HO when you've worn out all the flexed arm buffs

I had adept 3 on charge back in the day to compliment my constant duoing with a swashbuckler buddy (upgrades to Vengence).

I have also done a fair amount of duoing with another paladin ironically enough and it was VERY fun! I would nuke pull and taunt and then let the 2nd pally start an HO which I would taunt, then we would take turns blasting solo HOs with me taunting as my recase would permit, but he likewise taunted to complete them without me loosing aggro sans once or twice in an entire evening. We were like HO machine guns and the XP flowed It's kind of nice not worrying too much about the other pally drawing aggro with each having 2 big heals and both having minor heals.

Paladins are so well rounded it's hard to find a "bad" class to duo with given the player knows how to play their toon. I've started with several that were unsure what to do, but with a little assistance we were rolling in no time.

Last night I played in a group of 4 and thanks to teamspeak and some very nice coordination, we leveled several ALTs in a matter of a few hours 2-4 levels each and likewise completed a number of 4 man HOs (very rewarding) as well as constant chain 3 man HOs. The group was level 15-18 in range with ALTs--fun fun (hurry up vitality and rebuild a bit so I can get back on with my Paladin

Thanks,

Kalen

I duo regularly with a guardian who is within 2 levels of me. I let her tank and I toss all of my AC buffs on her and heal her as well as do as much damage as I can. It works out pretty good actually. We can do ^^ whites, blues, and greens with no problem. The ^^ yellows sometimes leave us with no power, it just depends where we are what we're fighting but the experience when duoing is AWESOME especially ^^ mobs. I especially love the BC zones

I too am a lvl 33 and I don't think I have found a bad combo yet but I prefer any fighter, healer, scout, or enchanter type class to a wizzy or warlock, not that there is anything wrong with duoin with them the others are just easier for me.

I have a 32 pally and my favorite groups are duos. In fact, I duoed almost exclusively from level 27-30. I found a safe spot east of tower 4 in TS and would search for any DPS class within a level of me. There is an endless supply of group skellies there with a nice range in level. I would pull the easiest green MOB first and then ratchet up the difficulty until we found our optimal level of MOB. I would earn about 1.25% per kill and pulling was almost non-stop (with good drink).

In my experience, wizards/warlocks were the best. It was my job to establish aggro and maintain it and then, bombs away!

Second best was the more DPS-based scouts like assasins.

A healer will slow you down, but it can still be effective.

Another tank will be the slowest.

I suggest pulling with a nuke, then do 3-4 HO's to establish aggro, then let DPS take over the dmg while you mostly heal/ward yourself.

Groups of 2-3 are by far the most efficient way to earn exp.

I personally have a blast with my wizard buddy. I know that many argue the best to duo with is a scout type, but I have to say, a good pallie with a talented wizard can do uber damage. I might be a little biased though. Me and my wizard friend have been questing together for a while now, and we know each other's abilities extrememly well.

When I was lvl 23 - 33ish I would always duo with a Conj. Quite fun because he had the "Training Pet" that could actually tank quite well if we needed it. Fighter / Mage HOs are really nice, cause all of them use some kind of taunt on the Pally's end. Now when I duo at lvl 34 to 42, it's almost always with a Warden. When wardens get into the mid to high 30s, they make a great fighter group mates. The buffs are insane, and the HoTs help a lot with aggro. Their damage output is not all that great, but the buffs / power regens / heals really make up for it. I've been trying to talk the warden into getting an Imbued weapon with the +100 damage procs. I know the healing chestguard I have kicks off quite a lot.

I duo with a conjuror, and I am able to buff her pet remarkably well. My heals and ward help lots too. When the conjuror is playing pet healer, the paladin becomes the DPS Pretty fun

I am a 30 Dirge and I have been douing with my wife, 30 Paladin since we started. I think the two classes compliment each other very well and the Dirge buffs and Debuffs make the Pally that more effective. She holds aggro and I whack away, sing and dance and do all my other Dirge things while she takes the beating. We handled ^^ Whites with this combo and doing HOs with no problem. ^^ Yellows were doable but she would really take a beating and might need to use lay hands depending on the type of mob we were fighting. I think as the other posters have noted, there aren't too many bad combos for a Paladin. But the nice thing about grouping with a dirge - you get where you want to go in record time :smileywink: Good luck and have fun!

I kinda like duoing witth a good caster, if you dont have any problems with aggro, then they can make sure they are all short fights, they will go by the quickest, and with a chanter you get both a quick finght from their DPS, and breeze, so less to no down time between fights
