I have a lvl 22 Pally (my main is a lvl34 Troub) what i notice is that everytime i go back to playing my pally I lauch the HO but almost 80% of the time no figthing spells foward it to the next stage im lucky if i get two ho's per solo fight as opposed to my bard in which i get a bloody lot of them.I have tried not fighting on horseback i seem to have a bit more success but barely... anyone else have this same problem?

Do you mean you start the HO, try a "sword" skill, but no starter chain is made? This happens more often to warriors because their "sword skill" can miss (be blocked, parried, simply missed or resisted). At some point we get a skill that never misses, making it easier to create the starter chain. But iirc a bard could have a problem with finnishing it's HO because their finnishing skill is an attack (quick strike still at the level of my little bard). So you might see more HO's started, but do you get to finnish them all? <div></div>

I find my HO's fail when I've to use the foot icon (Kick, and some other spell). I click it, but the HO doesn't go off and the timer keeps running. Due to the recast timer I can't cast it again and the HO fails. It seemed to be better when I was the last one to complete the HO, but I'm not sure about that. There is a 75% chance it will fail with the foot icon, but I never have problems with other spells or with HO's done by other toons... <div></div>

<DIV>An attack has to connect with the foe to count for an HO. If it is resisted, dodged, parried, etc, then it doesnt count. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do find that most boot (foot) icon attacks tend to miss/get resisted, etc, a lot more than other attacks. Perhaps it just seems that way because we only have one line of these attacks, so unlike sword or horn moves, if it fails, we are done, no chance to try a different move.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-I</DIV>

I'll keep an eye on the chat box to monitor what is going on, but AFAIK shouldn't I be getting a "misses" or "resisted" message? It doesn't get blocked or interrupted either, coz if it did there should be no recast timer running. <div></div>
