Personally, I will have, an ebon imbued axe, longsword, hammer, 2h hammer and claymore. Same with Imbued cedar shield(just waiting for woodcraft to get online. :-p ) It has a 5% proc, which is in line with glorious weapon line of buff spells. Now, when you also have imbued pants and shield you are looking at more proc's chance to go off. So, yep, they are worth it. Damage is damage no matter how you slice it. same with the small HoT chance with the BP. If you want an inexpensive way to test. Just have a fulginate weap imbued. Then you can test it from a percentage standpoint. Luminous raws are not rare as people would like you to think. they are semi-rare. Between common and rare. The was intentional so that common weapons could be imbued as well. If they were as rare as say ebon. It would make them even more valuable than ebon itself. And people would use them solely on rare materials and not on commons. So, the moral, test it out and see.

I have an imbued carbonite short sword on my assasin. It procs for around 60-90 pts at level 25. (the stats say more but of course you have to reduce this for mobs mitigation) I think it was deff worth the cash to get it, ok so it only procs every now and then, but it all adds up. I'm looking to get a second imbued weapon as i've been told its possible for them both to proc. Oh also it even makes the proc when i fire my bow sometimes, which is odd but welcome. :smileyhappy:

I'm only level 33, but I must say my pristine imbues feysteel longsword is awesome. Procs about 5-6 times in a regular heroic fight with a small group and about 3-4 in a full group with lots of DPS. The proc itself is great, looks like lightning coming down on the mob, I highly reccomend getting one made with you're itmes Jeauno - 33 Paladin Gromph - 25 Coercer Yanzo - 20 Provisioner

So bleedin expensive I'm gonna have to wait til the market is saturated with them and the prices drop. Its a nice effect but I am NOT paying 50-75gp for one. 7gp is still alot to me 17

I bought a pristine imbued feyiron greatsword a couple days ago and it has saved my [Removed for Content] soloing and duoing in Zek and Runnyeye countless times. The proc goes off often for me and it does anywhere from 75-140 damage.

I also bought myself an imbed feyiron breastplate and leggings. The leggings effect kinda stinks but the breastplate's lambert regeneration triggered one time when I was running away from a named in The Tomb of Nights and it saved my pally [Removed for Content] also.

So yeah, 60 gold (15 gold for sword, 25 gold for BP, 20 gold for leggings) down the drain kinda stinks as now I am broke, but I think it is a worthwhile investiment. At least it has been for me so far. Time to start doing those Zek quests again hehe.

Regards,

Richie (level 33 pally!)

P.S.
I was a little bit hasty to get the new imbued stuff, I think.

Mined a luminous stone - free.
Bought a second luminous stone (for the leggings) - 47g.
Pristine imbued fulginate chest + leggings - 50g + aforementioned stones.
Pristine imbued fulginate longsword and teak kite shield (both - a week later) - 60g

Before I leave to pick up my food stamps, I'll say that the gleaming strike is rather nice. It stacks with the buff proc, and seems to trigger about as often. It does about 130 damage and has only been resisted a couple times that I've seen.

Also, it's fun to say "my pants just procced and killed that wolf" to guild chat.

Had an Imbued Ebon Longsword made yesterday. 175 encounters, it went off 78 times. Average hit was 154.

Nice, but not as nice as I would have liked. It was group. I will post solo results when I have them.

The weapon has great stats so I am happy with it reguardless, but I think at a 1.7 delay I am swinging more than 20 times per fight. 1/20 would be 5%. My divine Pally proc is 7% and I get it at least 2 times a fight. Often more.

I looked at the parse log and it looks more like a 3% chance to proc. One night is not enough to make a full determination so I will keep the log going and post any new data here.

As a Weaponsmith I would recommend using your imbue and ebon for a vanguard breastplate or shirt of chain. That said if you get a second of each get them made into imbued ebon weapons. The addition of the procs to the ebon weapons makes them very nice and compete well with drops and rare quests.

Mind you that is from a tanks perspective. If you never solo or tank then get the weapon made. They are worth it IMO.

I went into weaponsmith due to the rarity of player crafted weapons and the high availablity of armors. Seems a lot of people

Imbued weapons and armors are quite expensive currently when I check the brokers. Iron stuff is 50 gold, and it goes up from there.

The glowing items are selling for 35 silver.

What server is that, "Greed"? I can't imagine that this sells. I sell imbued carbonite weapons for 4g and they sell pretty well, so my customers seem to be happy with them.

if u have an ebon why would u have an ebon imbued 2h sword made, use the ebon and get a real weapon! My Electrified BoneBladed Claymore rocks! a lot cheaper for u too, just get an ebon cluster and a couple of spare hours 1 or 2 friends and boom really nice sword with a dmg ratio of 53

I hit on average for 120dmg a hit with normal sword hits at lvl 44, though proc is only about 90ishdmg. I'm more interested in the ration as that is consistant dmg rather than random.

Can understand doing it for other types of weapon though.

I would say get the imbued armour though, I got myself a pristine imbued ebon bp and its great.

Steelle

Kithikor

Parsed the Imbue proc again and still not hitting very often.

If you buy one expect to proc 1:5 vs your divine proc.

You will hit once every other fight on average vs a little better than twice per fight for the Divine.

It is nice to see the proc and the sword has nice damage on its own, but the proc is far to infrequent for me reccomend investing in.

If you are doing an Ebon 2H then there is no other choice but the EBBC. Best sword in the game. At least that I have seen.

And if glowing items are selling for 35 silver on your server, please, tell me where and let me move there? Glowing extracts on AB sell for 2.7 GOLD forcing me to price imbued CARBONITE weapons at 4 gold (which pisses me off given how often the extract rares are being found).

I would KILL for 35 silver imbue raws.
