<DIV>It seems kind of silly that the only "two hand weapon only" combat art in my repetoire has a one handed animation.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 21, I have one "two hand only" combat art: Power Cleave.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All of the combat arts that can be used with a one hand or two hand weapon have an appropriate one handed or two handed animation depending on which weapon type you are using.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Power Cleave, the only one that can only be used with a two handed weapon has a one handed animation: the two hand sword is transfered to a one handed hold and swung downward in a chopping motion form over the shoulder.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just can't seem to follow the fuzzy logic behind this.</DIV>

<DIV>Minor issue but one I totally agree with. I would love an animation that made it look like a MASSIVE two handed swing. If you ever played the solo PC Game 'Temple of Elemenal Evil' they had special animations for critical hits with two handed weapons. I would love to see that animation for our two handed attacks. It was really a good one. Big stretching overhead double handed swing where you rear back and then crash the weapon down to the ground through the enemy. Looked really nice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a matter of fact I would like to see special animations put in for all critical hits. Not SPARKLY ones, animations. EQ 2, like EQ 1, can be FAR to flashy and sparkly a lot of times with their particle effects, IMO.</DIV><p>Message Edited by GilfalasElaandrin on <span class=date_text>04-04-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:02 PM</span>

i'm happy with the fact i swing hammers with 2 hands now, in eq1 as a dwarf i would poke things with my giant hamemr with 1 hand. most other races while using 2 hands, stil poked things lol. but yes, it'd be a nice fix and i assume they will get it taken care of (not until after they change the 2hand skill that uses 1hand to how its suppose to be sadly ;(

<P>I completely agree it's not a major issue and I certainly wouldn't want them devoting time to it instead of fixing bugs.</P> <P>I was just making an observation that the animation is oddly out of place for the ability.</P> <P>I did notice that Faithful Swing (which can be used with one hand or two hand weapons) also transfers the two hand weapon to one hand for a side arm swing. This doesn't seem as out of place as Faithful Swing is not a two hand only combat art. It just seems that a two hand only combat art ought to have a two hand animation.</P>
