almost lvl 49, have 2 rubies... which spells should i use them on?

I did Clarion Call, Sworn Strike, and Refusal of Grace, in that order. The next one I get will probably go towards Zealous Preaching.  Then I am torn between Couragous Dash for more taunting power, another damage power, or Pious Aid... <div></div>

well. end up buying another ruby and i upgraded these 3 spells. display of devotion *not really worth it.... 158 power, 684 dmg pious aid *must have 158 power, 711 heal zealous preaching *well... 26 power 537 hate, -715 divine <div></div>

om not sure, but for me when it comes to upgrading i go for group buffs 1st becuase more poeple benafit from it

<P>I upgraded my sworn strike 1st, then did all my AE (for raids) then upgraded my healing. My taunts are still adept I, since i dont do much grouping anymore and decided to save the rubies for attacks. </P> <P>I went offensive Paladin, so with my AE at adept III I can crank out 200+ DPS, which helps keep aggro by sheer DPS.</P> <P>Can anyone post adept III numbers for zealous preaching?</P>

That is why he does not have it in his book.</DIV>

i think he meant AdeptIII gilfalas. as far as upgading skills, the hate ones get like an extra 20hate? the damage spells (sworn strike and refusal) seem to have larger upgrades. Benediction gets an extra +2 defense i believe, which is viable too imo.

Thanks in advance Yarg <div></div><hr></blockquote></span>Advanced Alchemist Volume 49 provides the Alchemist the necessary recipes for ALL upgradable level 49 and level 50 fighter spells.  If you are trying to upgrade Pious Touch (the level 50 lay on hands), that spell seems to be currently unupgradable as it does not even list as an Apprentice I. To answer the original poster, I upgraded Clarion Call, Zealous Preaching, and Pious Aid in that order.  When rubies and rhodiums get cheaper, I would consider upgrading Benediction to Adept 3 (the +1 defense would increase my avoidance by about 0.1%), Display of Devotion (+83 hp ward, an increase of about 13%,  for +2 mana is reasonable), and possibly Crusade despite the fact that I took Kasine's. <div></div>

<P>Sorry i cant answer your question as i am just as torn. I have especially given one spell alot of thought, Pious aid. To upgrade or not? I know ure all thinking well thats a no-brainer ofcourse upgrade. But its not that simple considering i chose the lvl 30 trait heal (cant remember name right now and servers are down :smileyvery-happy: ) ... Currently the trait one heals 499 hp for 99 power, compared to pious aid adept 3 thats heals 711hp for 158 power (from that very helpful thread made by Justus)...So what do u think, go for the one that has a better ratio (1 power = 5 health) which is the trait one or should i get pious aid adept 3 ( 1 power = 4.5 health = 10% worse ratio then the trait)so i heal for more each time but for alot more power.. Also worth to mention is the trait one never fizzles sinces its very, very grey by now <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </P> <P>Grateful for any insight on this matter. </P>
