<DIV>In the update notes on Test there are some changes to the way certain spells work in that they never run out and no longer have a recast timer. It appears that these are mostly concentration spells, however their are some oddities with Paladins.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Firstly 2 of our concetration lines are not included, these being:</DIV> <UL> <LI>'Knights stance' line </LI> <LI>'Vigor of Trust' line</LI></UL> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now 'Vigor of Trust' type spells can't fall under this new system as they can be cast on multiple allies, other classes have similar spells that are not changed too, but 'Knights Stance' type arts are self only so should logically be included in this change.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Secondly 2 of our non-concentration lines are now being included, these being:</DIV> <UL> <LI>'Offering of Armement' line</LI> <LI>'Ancient Pledge' line</LI></UL> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now does this mean that both these lines of spells will now be using concentration, where before they didn't?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What do my fellow Paladins think?</DIV>

<P>Can't say I'm too thrilled one way or the other. Our concentration buffs all last for 12 hours. Even when I'm in powergamer mode, I can't play for 12 hours straight. I don't use the ancient plede line often, but if it affects aegis of hope then I might start. Offering of armement I never use and probably wont ever bother using unless I'm raiding and dont have to be an add tank. In groups when I'm not the MT, I always add tank and I wont give up any amount of ac, plus its an insignificant amount that wont even really help the person you put it on, but that's another discussion. If those two start using concentration, I'll probably never use them. I'm full up on concentration as it is.</P> <P>For other classes that have concentration buffs that are on a shorter timer, its good. But most I've seen are all 12 hour buffs and making them not have duration is kinda moot, but hey. If you put in more than 12 hours a day, dont die, and dont like having to recast your buffs after 12 hours, then this is for you. The no recast timer sounds kinda interesting though and perhaps we'll be able to use buffs for aggro generation again since our taunts are a bit lacking. </P> <P> </P> <P>17</P> <P> </P>
