<DIV>Hi guys,</DIV> <DIV>Sorry for posting a noob question, I *did* use the search function first). I played a paladin in EQ1 as my main for 5+ years. I loved the story, but *repeated* problems with my idea of paladins and Verant's (Eventually Sony, who did MUCH better at them) caused me much grief with Everquest. I had major issues with my quest armor, for example, requiring me to kill fairies, and my signature weapons being wrested from other paladins (frogs anyone? I hated killing them long before they had any "cool" or "Marr" factor...)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyhow, sorry about that. My main in EQ2 is a dirge, because there's a lot I have to lament in EQ. =) I *will* play a paladin though, those are my favorite class concept of all. What I want to know though, is this:</DIV> <DIV>During beta, (and before beta was public) it was stated that Paladins would be one of the few non-healer archetype classes to get a resurrection spell. While casually perusing a pally spell list though, I realized I couldn't find one...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do EQ2 paladins get a resurrection spell?</DIV>

At lv45 paladins recieve a spell called Elixer of Rejuvination if i remember the name right. It's a standard revive spell that grants the target 40% health (at app1) and a revive sickness that impairs stats and attack speed for a given time. It's nice to have, but for the most part, priests are the ones doing the reviving. Very useful in cases where the healers are either dead or too far away.

I've only had to use my rez once, I was helping a guildie get to a rough spot in Zek when he bit the dust and I came along and rez'd him. He was blown away, he had no idea I could rez:smileyvery-happy:

<P>Not only is it very useful during raids..it is sometimes critical. I am the rezzer in many raids..because </P> <P>A) the healers dont have time to rez people if the fight is tough</P> <P>b) it is FAR superior to any almost any other type of rez..at 40% health and mana, this means that the person is rezzed combat ready, whereas the healer rezzes barely give you 5% mana and power. I have seen many people rezzed die instantly due to their low health.</P> <P>Yes, it is a combat rez.</P> <P>Uzhiel, lvl 50 Paladin, Eternal Chaos, Faydark.</P>
