<DIV>35 paladin with limited funds here (dont we all). Looking for recommendations on spells that provide best bang for the buck for Adept3.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thinking Noble Tone (taunt). Anything else? Also what rares should I look out for to make Adept3s? EL and Zek rares?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I am in the exact same situation. I find lots of information on Adept 3s prior to 30, but not much at 30+. I would be interested in opinions on upgrades from 30 to 40 as well.

Other then that, I am not sure what I would spend the rares on. Tier 4 Rares are: Rough Opal Ruthenium These make the adepts High Quality Animal Pelts - used for Manastone Heritiage Quest Feysteel - used to make rare weapons and armor Severed Oak - can make a nice Tier 4 Kite shield out of it There might be one or two that I missed, but these are the main ones. </span><div></div>

I hit 40 the other night... I'll share some ideas on this: None of my lvl 30 - 39 spells are adept III My play style is small groups / solo. Usually me, a warden, and a conj. Or I solo / mentor other guildies. I'm thinking about upgrading my Implacable Wrath (Adept I) to Adept III (once I see the stats on it). Reason... I usually pull w/ this spell. Initial hit for around 65, then 4 54 - 65 DoTs. Usually adds up to between 300 to 325 damage... From only a 31 power spell. (Note: righetous blow uses 37 power...) Spell tops out at lvl 42, and I'm not sure when / if a replacement spell is earned. I was trying to find out the stats of Adept III pious belief. I couldn't find them, and I'm glad I didn't upgrade. At lvl 40 you receive a choice of 3 spells upgrades.... Pious Belief, Oath Strike, or Call to Glory. I still think Call to Glory is broken w/ the Hate Generation (personally, not proven), I already have Oath Strike Adept III (get it if you don't have it), so I took the Pious Belief upgrade... It's called Kasine's Enlightened Piety.. STA and STR = +23 / WIS and AGI +19. Very nice 12 hour buff and take one conc slot. You get a new damage shield at lvl 40. So I'm not going to bother w/ Faithful Zeal. Ageis of Hope... Think it's broken and it doesn't stack anymore w/ my Ancient Pledge Adept III, so I'm just keeping it at Adept I until I see it work as advertised. Our AoE spells aren't worth it. Just get Judgemental Doom at App IV. It is a nice AoE, use it a lot now. Shares timer w/ Conviction line... So it will reset unyielding conviction to 5 mins. No big deal. Shining Beacon.... App IV and Adept I are exactally the same stats... Spell is white to me now, and someone just gave me the Adept I version.. Exactally the same stats.... Adept I uses 2 more power than the app IV w/ same results. Call to Glory - I use it a lot, but I don't think it "really" transferrs hate.. Sure you can cast it during combat, but I feel the hate generated is just like any other buff... Pally or other class included... Gut tells me stick with App IV or Adept I... I have Dinvine Inspiration Master I . Only increases offence by +2 over Adept I version. Hate Generation stays at 1%. Vengaence - this is a pointless spell for the power usage... 73 power (at adept I) to inflict 145 crushing damage... and it really doesn't stun... if so it's only about .5 milliseconds. I'm still using Charge... at least it knocks 'em down. Shatter Will - I took Palin's Vengeful Strike at lvl 30. These 2 spells are very similar and do the same damage at lvl 40.... Palin's NEVER gets resisted and adds +19 to AGI for about 20 seconds. Palin's tops out at lvl 40 w/ damage, where Shatter Will is just beginning... Shatter Will adds +6 to WIS at Adept I... I take the +19 to AGI over +6 to WIS any day of the week. Grant of Armament - never seen the stats on adept III... Not worth it to me as I usually tank. Having App IV when I off tank or assist doesn't seem to make anyone mad. On the taunts... I want Smite Prayer adept III.... Be a while before we get another area taunt... I'd like to see the stats on Adept III.. right now at Adept I (lvl 40) Threat increase 411 / Divine Mitigation Reduction 491. I have Adept III Inflame, and Adept I of Noble Tone. Healing... I have Blessed Aid Adept III and Devout Aid App IV. At lvl 40 here's my stats Devout Aid (App IV) heals for 459 uses 118 power Blessed Aid (Adept III) heals for 440 uses 96 power. I like having the heal, but I picked up a chest piece that proc's a heal. Nice and it kicks off a lot. Not sure if I'll upgrade the heal past adept I... The heals are a power hog. Nice to have , don't get me wrong. But if I'm healing a lot during battle, I'm not winning the fight. Comes in handy when you need to direct heal someone... Grouped w/ a warden / fury w/ HoTs and someone needs a quick heal, this spell comes in handy. Hate generator... Mobs hate direct heals, but I don't think Adept III will add much more hate than an Adept I. Choice is up to you and your style.. My idea would be this: 1. Implaceable Wrath to Adept III 2. Smite Prayer to Adept III 3. Sell Rare or upgrade Devout Aid.<div></div>

<DIV>IMHO I would not get any of my lvl 30 spells adept III..just not worth it. I would sell the rare ands use it for armor or weapons.</DIV> <DIV>None of the lvl 30 are useful enough to warrant adept III</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Uzhiel, lvl 50 Paladin, Eternal Chaos, Faydark</DIV>

<DIV>To me its just not worth it to buy anything above an adept 1 pre 40. Adept 3s and Master spells cost a plat or more on Permafrost. I've never had any problems with adept 1 spells that could warrant me blowing all my cash on a spell that will be useless in a few weeks. Save your money and buy a decent horse.</DIV>
