Is the Char Fiend in Stormhold immune to some types of melee?

I found that my Paladin quest sword could not hit him, but that my level 18 ashen axe could hit him. Very unusual considering the quest sword should be of higher quality then the ashen axe....

<P>I'm not sure what he's immune to, but with a slashing weapon, I couldn't hit him in melee, or with most of my specials, at level 22.  He was low green to me at the time, but he had some nukes and abilities that I simply couldn't counter effectively while solo (no heal spell until 23).</P> <P>But, if I were to attack him again at 22, without a healing spell, and without an uber weapon, I would say that would be one of the only times that Righteous Blow wouldn't righteously blow, because he wasn't immune to Divine damage.  Given the 20 second timers on Righteous Blow and Righteous Anger, you could rotate between the two to advance your HO wheel, then nail him with damage that way.  Of course, I didn't realize this until later that night, after I had already leveled up to 23 and greyed him out.</P>

<DIV>Thanks for the reply's, We are 21 now so we'll have to go and see if we can kill him this time. I'm gonna try one of my lower level quest weapons instead of the player made sword I used.
