<div></div><div></div>Errr, this was supposed to be a reply to another post on this subject, not sure how I accidentally made it its own thread.  Sorry about that, but feel free to provide some data regardless <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I'd be interested in seeing some numbers on adept3 paladin single target damage spells at level 50. SKs get: Dreadful Wrath: our best one, hits for 300-500ish with a 10 second recast Wicked Coil: 99 dmg for 3-4 ticks, meh Plague Sword: This often hits for lower than we hit with 2-handed autoattack and was recently nerfed a bit extra.  Now we can blow 100 mana to hit for under 200 dmg, joy. Sickening Anger: 200ish dmg disease DD, way low mana cost.  Basically useful just for advancing an HO without spending too much power Soulrend:  This is our "kick" spell.  Hits for 200ish if we're lucky Devour Vitae: Our lifetap.  I have the master of this one and it still only does about 250ish damage and taps out 130 life for around 130 mana. Note that this isn't just on epicmobs or something.  We see numbers like these even on grey content. Now we do have some other spells that can have a strong effect on DPS such as Despoiling Mist which lowers ac, and our pet which is great situational DPS (not for every fight, but in certain situations is helpful, mostly when soloing).  We also get some decent AoE spells, however I'm pretty sure Paladins have very similar of not identical AoE lines, the difference being I believe the last patch fixed some of yours whereas many of ours (Agonizing Cry, Death Cloud) are still busted. I'd definitely hesitate to say that an Sk can out-DPS a paladin with equal equipment.  Back when i was exping at level 49 and such I grouped with a Paladin using an EBBC just like myself and we were typically equal in DPS on most fights, some I was higher, some he was, but overall he had a few more high fights and I had a few more low ones. I think in raid situations and longer fights, an SK will probably add more DPS to a group with despoiling mist and the pet spell.  However in some situations I think you'll see the paladin doing just as much, if not more, damage than an SK. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Bronto on <span class=date_text>03-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:59 AM</span>

Note that this isn't just on epicmobs or something.  We see numbers like these even on grey content. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Bronto on <span class="date_text">03-28-2005</span> <span class="time_text">04:59 AM</span></p><hr></blockquote>what pallies get note. i'm only lvl 48 and most of these spells are orange, all at adept 1 refusal of grace (out "big" nuke) = 500 - 600 dmg, 20 secs timer sworn strike (our *bigger* nuke) = 500 - 650 dmg, 30 dmg, and 70dmg per tick for 2 ticks 30 secs timer unyielding wrath = 70 dmg 4 or 5 ticks blessed rush (our kick spell) = 230 dmg or up divine judgement and shatter will = 200 dmg each, both are on short timer, low power cost, asked to be spammed. other than that......... we got nothing...</span><div></div>
