What to do with Fir

Not sure what level you are but now that Paladins can use axes you might wanna do the PGT heritage quest which requires Fir to complete. <div></div>

very nice axe but the only problem is for a paladin is its Dual Weild, your atk rating will be cut in half but the proc on the thing should make up for that.

So yeah you will take a DPS(but not as much as you would think) hit but depending on the mob/group makeup, etc i find myself using the PGT/Shield ALOT.   The proc is 500ish WARD, STR buff and Power Buff. Its pretty nice especially the power increase portion of it. May not be as valuable to a Paladin as it is to a Guardian(we get all our power from STR so the proc is a double whammy in terms of power increase) but definately worth a look.  QUest is easy just time consuming. </span><div></div>

The weapon itself has simply not been worth it in my opinion, while I agree the proc is nice, it simply does not happen enough to favor using a weapon like GB over it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I advocate finishing all possible heritage quests -if- you're guilded and the status is going to help you out in that respect. Otherwise, the gold has better uses for you. Armor and adept spells most notably.</DIV>

Armor and adept spells most notably.</div><hr></blockquote>Well like everything else related to the random number generator in this game its streaky.   Sometimes ill end a fight a full power simply cause I got proc after proc after proc toward the end of fight.  Other times I find myself...praying for one more proc so i dont have to run. Like I said it isnt the Ward that the nice part...in fact a 500 point ward against the right level mob can actually cause me to take extra dmg.. Its the power increase that makes it worth using under certain circumstances. Like I said it wont be as useful to Paladins since you cant actually duel weild but I use PGT/<insert DW weapon here>  when Im soloing and it makes a world of difference. When my group is DPS heavy and healing lite ill use PGT/Shield. Ive parsed myself and the DPS hit from using a single DW weapon is actually not that much...probably since most of our DPS comes thru combat arts not raw melee. Again its a situational weapon when grouping but imho its worth having in my "bag o tricks" =P </span><div></div>
