Paladins have access to Piercing damage.

<DIV>I keep seeing people say that they can't deal piercing damage because of limited weapon selection, but the flamberge deals piercing damage. I know this because I used a flamberge for a while but switched back to weakened ghoulbane despite lower stats because of the damage type difference.</DIV>

sigh..for the upteenth time..the flamberge is no longer a piercing weapon..it was moved over to the slashing section.

How do we (Paladins) kill a mob like the Rat Queen? I heard some mobs can only be killed by using piercing or holy spells. She's immune to slashing, and my crushing skill is too low atm, but she's probably immune to that as well. <DIV>Player crafted worked fine when I took her out.  Was using a pristine carbonite mace of some sort,  but definately player made.  I switched out to my 2h as well,  also player made and worked fine.  Crushing and slashing both.  Of course she was grey at the time I killed her so... dunno if that makes a difference or not.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>17</DIV>

I mean the Rat Queen in VS. I saw a 25 Paladin tanking her and the "immunes" kept coming, I don't know what sword he had, but it was not the SoT. Do you mean weapons with simply magic stats? or that can do additional damage on a succesful hit? Would this also work with the Dwarven Sword of Cleansing?? <div></div>

I duo'ed her with a Mystic half a dozen times when we were level 24.  I was using Starfall, easy kills. <div></div>

yeh, I started using the Starfall yesterday. My still is 40 and I'm meléeing grey mobs to get my skill up, but it really is an eternity to upgrade that skill :/ In Down Below the mobs die within 3 hits and in Vermin Snye leeches and bloodsabers seem to have too much agility coz I'm getting a skill update evey 10 minutes or so. Needless to say that this a discouraging thing to do if I ever want to use a mace.
