If you take a look at your resists you'll see that they're down too, some are reporting stat loss as well. Many others are reporting similiar problems, though not all: not every item is effected.I asked one of the chat GMs about this issue, he reported that it had been escalated and that I should /bug it.i.e. they're aware of the issue and its been passed up the chain for the developers to resolve. If you've been effected I recommend doing a /bug [Category: Mechanics, Subcategory: Items, Causes Crash?: Effects Gameplay, Reproduceable?: Always happens. The more coherent bug reports they recieve, the faster they'll be able to track the problem down, and the higher priority it will be. Dont spam /bug though, just one each.

<DIV>I noticed something similar in that the stats for my "Guard of Grumm" kite shield, which is supposed to have a max ac of 541 at lvl 40, yesterday had something like 493 ac at lvl 40 both on then one i use and the ones for sale at the brooker. I hope this is a bug and not intentional as i paid good money for that shield.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So hopefully the devs fix this anoying bug as soon as possible.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/Camoran</DIV>

You might want to post that to the following thread in the Items and Equipment forum:http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=items&message.id=26447Supposedly this change should only effect those from 15-31 and their equipment. Your shield shouldnt have been effected so, at least as we can tell from the explanations so far.In summary if you're 15-31 and you fight over your level, be it soloing or in a group, you're going to find life harder, plough through mobs below your level and as long as your equipment is above the relative level of the opponent things will be easier.Hmmm. Hopefully the devs will ruminate a bit more on this change and consider pulling it back.<p>Message Edited by TroodonIE on <span class=date_text>03-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:50 PM</span>

<blockquote><hr>GilfalasElaandrin wrote:<DIV>Read the Dev tracker. That by smoothing out mob difficulty from 15-31 and thus the value of equipment that is directly corralated against it, they've actually made it harder to fight mobs whom are tougher than you.How does this change effect you? We'll principally its an issue if you're in your late 20s-early 30s.As a soloist through my 20s green++ mobs seemed to be my staple, from 29 onwards I was rather timerous of all these gold/orange (non heroic) mobs in the Enchanted Lands and Zek, I was in for a welcome suprise when I took one on. I was able to effectively fight solo mobs a few levels about me. Now its much less cut and dry. Relative to them Ive been nerfed,As a group member unless you're fighting stuff below your level again you're again effected, most groups want to take on stuff that is collectively harder that the members individually, that means you're going to be facing opponents with not just better equipment than you, but equipment that is on a different scale.
