View Full Version : How do you Pull?
<DIV>I think we are the best class for pulling.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here is my pull strat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I run out spamming omen until it starts to cast, immediately turn and begin running to camp. When it hits I hit HO, Vengful Strike and then start spamming AE taunt. I know when he is close behind because I complete the HO. I then hit Charge and Oath and usually have done about 600 damage before he swings the first time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Works really well in outdoor areas and in long halls like Varsoons.</DIV>

<DIV>I usually pull with one of our long range spells run it back to camp, do AE taunt and bash before any other group members touch it then trigger off sky cleave. If the group is close tho I just run up to the mobs and pull with AE taunt</DIV>
<DIV>Lvl 25 I run out use Righteous Anger, then right after I cast Demonstraion of Faith, then start running back and cast group buff. I keep going back to the camp and then taunt. Hard mobs or long pulls I have healer cast heal on me, BoV for templars, whom I mostly group with.</DIV>

<DIV>I used to use Omen to pull and I still often do but a couple times when I used it on a mob standing right next to another mob (they were not grouped) I got both with disastrous results.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nowadays if mobs are really close I"ll use inflame. I'll use Omen if nothing else is right on top and especially if the range is farther. If I"m pulling a grouip of mobs I'll use Blinding Flash range permitting since that agros everything in the group and they're all more likely to stick on me once they reach the party.</DIV>

<DIV>Omen to pull, Fighting chance for the HO, Divine Vengence for the Sword, and then Blinding light when I'm back, and then I go with a Oath Strike. Then ussualy I work with the scout in the group to trigger his HO and I hit Kick to advance it to the Verdant Heal one, and as the healer starts to heal me, it advances and is finished, Very sucessfull with this stratagy. If the Healer gets agro, I have Inflame in reserve to grab it back.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've not parsed it, bit, when I do that, between the Attack help of the Divine Vengence, and the Blinding Light Divine Debuff componet, it appears that I ussualy hit harder with Oath Strike.</DIV>

<DIV>Highest Long distance damage spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>AE taunt.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ward or a heal.(without target switching)</DIV>
<DIV align=left>Generally I will try and stike up a conversation, and if that seems to be going well, buy a drink or two and see where it takes me, alternatively the 'fancy a shag' direct method cuts down on time and monetary investment, although it can result in pain and bruising.:smileytongue:</DIV> <DIV align=left> </DIV> <DIV align=left>Oh and in game spell, taunt, thwack with the sword or bash with the shield. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV align=left> </DIV> <DIV align=left>Later</DIV>

My next two attacks are stun and then oath strike, by then I usually have plenty of aggro for the fight, even when grouping with warden/fury(god [FaarNerfed!] fix their heal aggro please!).

<DIV>I don't now the Horse was nerfed.</DIV>
<DIV>Speaking of Noble Tone...I used it the other night when I had to reel in an add after the shammy hazed it pretaunt, and it failed...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>unresistable taunt...I guess there is more than one definition of unresistable.</DIV>
