Oath Strike adept 3

<DIV>I just started parsing it last night doin writs in Zek.  Only one night of numbers, high hit was 309, average in the high 200's.  Dots about what you stated always over 50.  So roughly 500 to 600 total damage each successful attack.  I increase my chance of success by always hitting him wiht knockdown then Oath.  I am going to hotkey it.  Hit 90plus percent that way.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am Level 30.  I looked at my overall damage and Oath was four times more cumalitive damage than any other attack.  Pretty impressive.  Nearly half my damage was due to that attack.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My overall DPS was 46.  The 38 Guardian in the group was 63 DPS.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If we were equal levels I think I would have put them to shame.  If I were MT it would have been higher as well.  You always get that little pause for them to change targets.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EDIT:  My highest hit was 350.</DIV><p>Message Edited by SunTsu on <span class=date_text>02-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:35 AM</span>

<DIV>When I did adept three my average hits went from 180ish to 210 ish and the dot component increased as you have noted as well quite regularly. This is one of two total adept three's I have and it was <U>well </U>worth the money. Total damage went up about 80-100 points per use which is pretty significant.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes, I would like to know the answer also.  I am level 30 with adept 1.   I am using starfall and a shield with my strength being 87.  My high is 291 with my average usually in the 220's.  My dots are as stated in the 40's most of the time.  I need to know if its worth the $$$.  Thanks  Valkin</DIV>

<DIV>It was last night and in my group we had a 38 Mystic.  My Str was 180 at the time, I was using a starfall for half the night but switched to my 2HS (Feysteel [Removed for Content] Sword I think but I rarely use it so not sure) for the second half so not sure what hit it for that amount.  Perhaps it makes a difference, I don't know.  It was only one night of Parsing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I will continue to parse it and others and leave feedback on this site.</DIV>

Last night with a Str of 107 buffed, My high was 310. So that Str did push me up a bit.

<DIV>i got adept 3 oat strike at lvl 28 when i got the skill, I used it up to lvl 40 when i got the lv 40 training adept 2 version. For me no matter what weapon i used the dmg stayed the same, the damage only increased if my str was increased by about 20 or more and as my lvl went up because all skills get better as you level. If i use it now i can hit for over 400 initial and do about 60 on the dot. on the lvl 40 training I do just about the same initial damage but the dot does about 80-90. </DIV>

<DIV>ya there are 40+ master 1s, on Nektulos our lvl 40 self heal was selling, I should have picked it up but didnt have 1pp at the time. Hopefully there will be more in the future</DIV>
