<DIV>I have seen a few and a swarven sword of cleansing on the broker. What quest are these tied to? They have similar damage as Pristine Carbonite weapons but better stats. Add to that the Undead DD proc and you have an early on Paladin "must have".</DIV>

<DIV>There are rewards for the 'Cleansing of Firemyst Gully' quest, which takes place in (you guessed it) Firemyst Gully. Get a group of 3 or more, at least one of whom has completed the FG access quest (Lord Grimrot's Scythe), go in there and speak to one of the dwarves at the camp - Sir Throthur I think his name is - to start the quest. Quest can be very nasty if you don't do it right, but the weapon and xp rewards are well worth it. There are staff and dual wield versions of the quest reward as well, so something for everyone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>NB - you want to go into FG proper, and NOT 'A Foul Wind' which is a separate instance and doesn't have this quest available.</DIV>

<DIV>I went with the sword from that quest that procs to undead. Was very helpful when I was leveling in SH, and I upgraded from that to Berik, Sword of Thunder.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Seomon on <span class=date_text>12-26-2004</span> <span class=time_text>10:04 AM</span>

<DIV>How do you use the Dwarven staff of cleansing proc? Do you have to engage in melee combat? Or will it proc when you're casting? </DIV>

It only triggers when in combat with direct contact with the beasties (RNG of it proc'cing of course) ...</P> <P>Won't trigger when doing the finger wiggling castings, as far as I can recall.</P>
