<DIV>We have some combat skills but also spells that do divine damage. What modifies damage for divine spells? For mages, int increases damage. Does int affect our spells? Wisdom only modifies resistances to spells and adds to power, but does not affect damage.</DIV>

<DIV>Spells damage is not stat modified - higher wisdom will help you land your spells though.</DIV>

<DIV>The manual states "Int can influence magic use, affecting magical damage." Whether this refers to only magic damage or all spell damage I dunno.</DIV>

<DIV>The Manual also states that i can use an Axe <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But no, it will not modify the dmg itself - as stated here above, stats can affect the chances of resist etc. - but not the dmg itself.</DIV>

I know I read a while back on one of the mage forums that higher intellegence tended to result in higher damage output on spells. This doesn't mean intelligence affects our damage, of course, but maybe something does. All in all, if you want more damamge, upgrading the spell is the best way to do it.

<DIV>I solo most of the time. I grouped earlier today and had everything buffed. My Oath Strike was doing 300+ damage whereas when soloing it would do no more than 280 (250 most of the time).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So go figure</DIV>
