Dare it at 18th level

<DIV>Some great info from everyone in this forum; thanks to those who have shared.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One thing I haven't seen discussed is whether completing the Paladin's quest is viable as an 18th level Crusader.  Certainly the additional power/health/skills of 19th and 20th levels would help, but is there anyone that has completed the second half of the quest at 18th level?  I've almost met my required total of Gnolls for the first half and I am contemplating whether I should go for the second half while still at level 18 or whether I'm just making this too hard on myself.  Thanks for the help.</DIV>

<DIV>Thanks, Shorzu.  Actually, I answered my own question tonight.  I killed the Gnolls (I only had to kill 25 but I've seen other posters say the number was 50) and then went back for the second part of the quest.  What I didn't know, and haven't seen anything posted here about it, is that once you do that, you're automatically sent out to the place where the second part of the quest is.  Delacar tells you that a Qeynow Ranger will take you and, bam, there you are, whether you think you're ready for it or not.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But what everyone else has said is true; stealth is your friend in this effort.  Head in, stay to the right, and let wandering guard groups pass you by.  I had no problem with this effort at 18th level.  Also got lucky and got it done on the first time; even opened the barricade on the first try.  Luck was with me I suppose.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Best of luck to the rest of you.</DIV>

<DIV>*SPOILER*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Heh, the first time I went through I got to the barricades and couldn't figure out how to get the villagers out. I looked at my quest journal again and it said kill the gnolls holding the villagers (or something similar), so off I go to kill all the gnolls in that village.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 18, I got slaughtered by one of the wandering groups (I had no way to exit the zone without using Call of Qeynos). So I figured that I would be able to kill all those gnolls at level 19. I started the same way again but this time happened to figure out how to bring down the barricade and felt stupid for not realizing it the first time through.</DIV>
