Crusader/Paladin Weopon Restriction

<DIV>Never read the books, more of a Raymond Feist fan. Met Drizzt on Baldur's Gate 1 where I got the impression he was a Paladin. Had a funny feelin he was a Ranger so I did a quick search before placing that post... after reading through the posts the person who said he was got blasted too :smileywink:. A lance used while mounted would be the most paladin-like weapon they could possibly have. Even more so then a sword.

Have to say, I see no worthy rationale in restricting the use of bows from Paladins.Archery, amongst other things, is/was a classical knightly pursuit.Fine, put a cap on the maximum skill a Paladin can gain (as was done in EQ1), but come on, no bows?Yes, we can still pull in a mob at range with our spells, but still, come on guys, bow us up please.
