<DIV>Has there been a ninja nerf on solo HO damage. I was regularly dealing 70+ damage on blue^^ con mob at level 15, now at 22 the damage seems to be 50+ on average, even on yellow^^ con mob. I would have been hoping to consistently deal 80+ damage with a HO by this level. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I was under the impression that crushing anvil was AE damage, 30-40 on full group, now it seems to do damage to single mob more often than not. Am I missing something here.</DIV>

You are comparing apples to oranges. There is a HUGE difference between blue^^ and yellow^^. I haven't noticed a change in HO at all. At lvl 21 I'm getting between 48 and 70 damage while soloing green^^ crows. Not sure how much a mob's lvl affects HO's but I suggest taking out some blue^^ and see how they compare to your previouse blue^^ encounters.

Yellow con mobs will usually mitigate and avoid more damage then a blue con mob. This is part of what makes them tougher and therefor con yellow. Would you expect to hit a red con as hard and as often as a green con? Higher con mobs don't just have more hps and higher dps, they also mitigate and avoid damage more.Also, higher level mobs will avoid and mitigate more damage naturally as well as dish out more damage. A blue con at 22 is tougher then a blue con at 10, especially if you don't upgrade your gear. Sky Cleave damage is way down I think. In my lower 20's I was regularly pulling off over 100 damage on completion, and now at 30 it often does like 50-70 on solo mobs maybe 90ish on group mobs with the RARE hit over 100. And this is leading off with a 250 point initial hit. When I can do 100 damage for like 20 mana.. spending the mana to taunt to complete an HO isn't worth it when solo anymore.

It uses a lot less power, and doesnt seem to change the amount of damage done by the HO at all.

But still, it really seems like Sky Cleave HO damage is way down. I mean around level 20 I used to be able to hit double up greens for over 100 with it. Now it hits double up greens for like 80-90. Shouldn't damage go up as I level, not down? Oh one other thing I use to reduce mana is my AE taunt, its cheaper than regular single and the upgrade has the divine resistance debuff

<DIV>Nerfed is the wrong term. I think they did tweak it a bit. I now see a greater range of damage. Yellow ( and green group Up 2 arrows) mobs seem to take lower damage but every once in a while I still see a 80-100 hit. I think the HO was simply hitting in the top damage range all the time before. If my hammer can hit 16, 22, 16, 39,51,12 why should the HO do X damage every time?</DIV>

The point I was making is that the HO has not scaled with the rest of the abilities and in my view, has actually been reduced. Righteous anger/blow does more damage against lvl22 mob, than they did against lvl15 mob (when I was also lvl15). Both at adept1, like most of my skills, so no problem with upgrades. I'm comparing like for like, blue^^ con lvl15 when I was lvl15 to blue^^ con now. If I am not mistaken the HO trigger has a spell level on it. Is it possible there are upgrades to this that would allow for greater damage?
