...The newest Dark Elf Paladin. /bowSomething about a Dark Elf becoming a Paladin makes me gag and grin at the same time.

<DIV>Totally agree.  Paladins are the living embodiment of good and light.  Not a traitorous scumbag who couldn;t even be loyal to his own city.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really think the RP value of EQ2 is shot with things like this.</DIV>

However, who are you to judge him? Are you on par with the Gods? Would it be more a treasonous act to live under Lucan and betray your own feelings of seeing wrong and wanting to do right rather than leaving everything you've ever known behind to forge your own destiny and bring justice to the world? Even though you know you'd have to deal with the burden of your race on your shoulders everywhere you go?/ooc I don't see how the RP value would be 'shot' as you say. I believe this adds more RP value to the game. Ever heard of a certain character named Drizzt Do'Urden?

<DIV>You dont think an evil race going good is a decent way to RP? I am a troll crusader who betrayed and will become a Paladin. Personally I think this has a great RP potential. I have had to speak up in my group several times when "good" races wanted to kill the forest wardens in Archers wood. I asked them why they needed to kill these wardens who are suppose to be protecting the woods (that is the general understanding of the term warden). I was told because they are blue double up and worth some decent xp. Obviously this group wasnt into RPing, but none the less, this race/class combo offers me and I'm sure several others great oppurtunity to RP.</DIV>
