Hail holy brothers and sisters,I've been soloing my character for most of its career, and reluctantly understand the need to start grouping in EQ2. While I'm aware of the various roles I will play in a group (main tank, main assist, 2nd tank, 2nd assist) I'm wary of my ability to use my skills and spells to their full group potential. Most of my group buffs, taunts and assists have never been used outside of Heroic Opportunities. What spells/skills do you have set up on your various hotkey bars for grouping? What buffs do you throw out when you begin your group? What buffs do you maintain throughout the fighting? What macros do you have set up (ex. one for targetting, assisting, pulling etc.)Where is your focus? on the mobs? on the MA? Do you fight on horseback?I hate to sound like such a newbie, but it's been years since I played my 50 EQ paladin and was always mentored by a really great group of guild members, so I appreciate any help from my extended class family here.Rhisk21 PaladinAB Server.
Message Edited by Rhisk on 12-12-2004 04:35 AM

There is also a great guide to HOs at the site.
