<DIV>Ok, I'm right now on the third armor quest and I am having some difficulty finding the Defilied Crusaders. I have been told where they spawn, and seen it on a few maps (when you get into the atrium turn left and they should be in either of the right or left rooms, around the Tomb of Valor zone in). I just spent almost two hours killing everything in these rooms and did not see one pop, had a track with me also and he did not see any at all (we ran around to a few places, went to go kill cavaliers and some writs for other quests). So I am left to the options of either it's bugged or i am looking in the wrong places. Please help if you can offer any on where you can find Defilied Crusaders in Stormhold.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Siilvarblayde Truthbringer</DIV> <DIV>21 Paladin Butcherblock Server</DIV>
<DIV>Since you found defiled cavaliers, you should have bumped into at least one defiled crusader on your way in. At least one (group-based ^^) roam the halls between the entrance to the temple where cavaliers spawn and the archery trainer room, and there is another room where two of them statically spawn in place (where the box spawns with the handmaidens).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That's all the information I know of from my 3 hour romp through Stormhold camping cavaliers and crusaders because competition was heavy at the time.</DIV>
You're in the right area, they are near the cavaliers sorta. But thanks to poor programming, they might be stuck somewhere... many mobs in places like Stormhold are disappearing into the world geometry. As far as I can tell, sometimes when people train a mob away, it paths into the floor or ceiling and ends up staying there. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Doesn't respawn until zone reset.<p>Message Edited by Rennyn on <span class=date_text>12-08-2004</span> <span class=time_text>11:25 PM</span>
<DIV>Just finished this god forsaken quest last night. I'll be happy never to see Stormhold again after the countless failed attempts to complete this quest! The boots were the last pieces of armor I NEEDED to compliment my player-crafted pristine forged carbonite vanguard pieces, so I am in no hurry to acquire the remaining 3 pieces right away.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for the crusaders, go to the atrium, and take the door to the left--->go down the ramp and take another left-->go up that ramp and take a left into a partitioned room. There should be two grouped crusaders in there.</DIV>

The spawns in VS aren't that difficult as I recall and there's not a whole lot of wandering around trying to find what you need to kill, just the usual overcamped business. The next one in TS is simple, can pretty much solo it, and the last one in TS I think was almost...well, almost enjoyable.

<DIV>I nearly cried with joy in real life after getting my final Defiled Crusader in SH. I hung around with the group I was in for another half hour helping the last person get his.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I swear, that zone is just horrible. From disappearing mobs, mobs not respawning for aaaages, the healer falling through the floor to their death (yes, THROUGH the floor, I watched it happen twice) bad pickup groups, to the time my group was stuck in combat mode for half an hour I had my fill of that place. Two of my friends are about to start their AQ's and I will help them in SH, no question. I dread it though. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Stormhold sucks. :smileymad:</DIV>
<DIV>Question on part 3 of the AQ: I am currently still a level 21 paladin. I went to the Crypt of Betrayal yesterday for the first time just to get a look at the mobs I would be facing to complete this quest. Upon zoning in, I noticed that there were a couple of aggressive level 24^^ mobs at the top of the staircase, so I zoned out w/o exploring the area. I think i did see a shriller among those mobs, though (and if memory serves me correctly, he too was a 24^^).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So the queston is this: should I just wait a level or two before even attempting this leg of the aq, or try to get a group together for it? I can't even wear the shoulder pieces until I am 22 anyways, and as I said above, I am pretty much all set for armor for the next 10 levels or so. I guess it would just be a nice luxury to be that much closer to completing these armor quests. My plan was to just wait a level or two to attempt any further progress - maybe lay waste to some shore crabs in TS in an attempt to get some decent loot.</DIV>

Cause part 3 is in StormHold. <P>If it's part 4, then...Well, I'm really crappy at explaining directions, so just suffice it to say, look online for a good map of VS because there are two entrances into CoB. One is difficult you'd need a group, and the other is a little easier. The harder one being the one past the bloodsabers and the grate is in the side of the wall, the easeir one being down a set of stairs in the water like where you zone in. I can't remember what lvl I was when I was there, but I don't think at 21 you could solo it...though I could be wrong. I'm sure you'd be able to find a pick up group for it, but either way pick the easy entrance, and if you want to fight through with a full group with a healer and mezzer, there's an interesting quest in there (just a nice little story, xp and I think cash), however, most all your mobs can be killed right at the entrance.</P>
<DIV>Yes, I did mean part 4 - I misspoke myself. The entrance I went into yesterday was the one accessible through the Bloodsaber room in VS. Figures, I'd pick the harder of the two :smileyvery-happy: . OK, thanks for the info. I will probably finish with this level and then return to test the waters. If I can solo it - great, if not, I will try my hand at getting a group together.</DIV>

<DIV>21 Pally here, mobs needed for AQ4 conned blue and white and had double up arrows. If you're 21 now, get a group and you should be done with it fairly quicky.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Spirited on <span class=date_text>12-10-2004</span> <span class=time_text>11:31 AM</span>
