<DIV>Anyone notice that when on a horse it takes Forever to run from a fight?  Is it sposed to be this way or is it bugged some how,   I cant seem to flee from an encounter while mounted.</DIV>

Are you breaking the encounter by yelling? As long as I yell I have no problems what so ever out running anything that's trying to eat me.

<DIV>Darkith is right, you can't have the horse effect till you hit the Yell button. I noticed when i was pulling in TS and i saw mobs kept hitting me until i reached the group. The same happens when using Pathfinding (not sure about Sow or higher lvl speed buffs.</DIV>

All speed buffs are negated while locked in an encounter. (as well as health and power regen) So, if your trying to get away just break the encounter by yelling and your speed/regen will return to normal.

<DIV>once i was fighting the highway men of windstalker village and they took advantage on me so i ran and yelled. But i had to reach the qeynos gate in order to have the guards kill them, they followed me all the way down to qeynos and it s a long way.</DIV>

perny the exact same happened to me the other week, only i got killed about 10 bloody feet from the gates, they again followed me all the way from windstalker right back to the city, with me yelling for help all the way.

<DIV>Human mob-types like highwaymen, bloodsabers, windstalker citizens.. seem to hold on a lot longer than most normal mobs. Even worse is the highwayman that root.. I was running just like you two from easily 10 highwaymen, and one rooted me. Needless to say, I was getting my shard minutes later <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Once you yell it should eventually let you go back to running at full speed. I always hit yell then escape to get out of war mode and it works well. Haven't died in 4 levels.*knock on wood* :smileyhappy:</DIV>
