I'm not far enough along to check for myself, but in the Quests forum there's a thread on heritage quests and they mention a Ghoulbane quest.I DEFINATELY plan to pursue that when I'm high enough.

The Ghoulbane won't be usable until 30th level at best (that's the weakened one too).There's Berik's Sword of Thunder, but I missed out on that one and now most of upper SH is grayed out to me. But definately worth it if you can still exp in upper SH.I'm on the lookout myself for something I can use from 25 to 30+. Storebought 1hs is getting old.

It's a rare, random drop (some say only off skeletons) in SH. Personally I've only seen one drop, and that one came off two defiled sentries near entrance (16^ I believe). It's probably easiest when upper SH is still green or higher - more kills means more chances at getting a chest.

<DIV>Guys if you can get Berik, Sword of Thunder you are set until you get ghoulbane. Its a rare drop but if you get lucky its a very sweet weapon and one of the only lower level weapons that I know of that has a proc. Thunder Strike a 45 point DD. IT also looks really awesome.</DIV>

<DIV>She is level 23++ and of course can heal.   Problem is not so much she is a rare spawn...but that SH is very notorious for bugging mobs.   Best time to camp her is on a server reset or newly formed instance.  I got the sword at level 22 and use it with Stormshield (224ish AC with 15+ health/power and 6ish wis/str).  The quest sword is called "Sword of Thunder" and can be traded and sold on broker (10g or so on butcherblock if you are lucky to even see it there).  Start the quest and you have to kill 100 knights - basically any skelly in SH.  Then talk to the sword again and you have to kill the three named.   Worth a LOT of XP at 22 (maybe 15ish)...its very very nice.  1.7 delay and something like 18-34dmg with the best stats i have seen on an item I can use....not to mention a proc.   If you see "Berik, Sword of THunder" for sale on the broker - DO NOT BUY IT.  The quest on it has already been initiated and will be worthless to you...the actual sword is no drop.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Phoenix - 23 Paladin, Circle of Valor</DIV> <DIV>Butcherblock</DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=149000108" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=149000108</A></DIV>

I would have stayed in one group but no one wanted to stay around for just one mob to pop so when one group signed off i would just join the next one.</DIV>
