<DIV>I recently attained paladinhood and I've been looking forward to doing this quest. But recently I learned that you need a minimum of 90+ mining skill to progress from the second step onward. I think that's a little unfair. It feels as if the devs couldn't find a way to make the quest harder and decided to introduce something not really involved with adventuring to make the process wholly more difficult. Is there anyone who knows how to raise mining skill quickly or, even better, know a way around this? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV> <DIV>Luthar of Antonia Bayle</DIV>

<DIV>Well, i cant say it was too quick but what I did to get my skill up was walk around a newbie zone for awhile, just using every resource item i found. It took me a few hours to go from 15 to 60. Probably not the quickest way but it could work. Or u could just offer money for someone with the proper skill to do the mining for you.</DIV>

Get a 'the caves' instance for yourself. There's a few way to get about doing this, one more tedious than the next, but you'll figure it out I'm sure. Once there, just clear the second and third floor of anything on the floor. You're sure to get quite a few collection items as well. Make sure to take ALL the nodes, as the ones that aren't for mining are placeholders for them.Once you get to 40+ and can mine in Antonica, it's all downhill. There's tons of nodes in Antonica to pick from, and usually several instances of the zone as well. I've found the nodes most plentiful between Oracle Tower and the NE corner (past Windstalker Village). On a last note, and do take note that I add this merely as a last thought if you're feeling the last of 30s slow - there's a rumour floating about that using a harvesting tool increases your skill by 10. I haven't confirmed it myself, so I wouldn't rely on it. Just something to try if you're desperate.Cheers, and good luck.

<DIV>I just finished the mining part. In TS I'd try the dry riverbed, south west of the village. Other places are where you find griphons north west of the village. It's kind of random, so don't expect any money spot. Mining in TS took me about 3 hours...</DIV>

wlel I just found a mining spot near tower 4 where the giants are. BEtween the undead and centaurs you got a whole lot of stuff there. of course take caution it is a bit dangerous.
