Eh, I solo heal Den and guild groups all the time.  Did pretty much all of the claymore quests in SoS with just a zerker/paladin or my friend 2 boxing paladin/wizard and myself.  For tough stuff, yes, you need a priest.  But blue trash for quests or easier instances like the Den, its easy.  I solo healed Den with me, zerker, dirge and swashie after our cleric LD before the first named.  No deaths <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

If you have all master 1 heals, and the heal crit AA's you can be way more effective than people would think. I took the master 2 single target heal at lvl 64, and it heals for about 950 without crit heal. And I regularly crit heal for 1200 to 1400 with it. While you won't be able to be the primary healer in your group, you can compensate for a weak healer or if you have enough dps you can self heal quite easily. I am fairly well geared, but I can duo with just about any class, healer or not, and take on lvl 71 and 72 heroic mobs. Using a 2 hander. Thundaarr Unrest <Nightcap> <div></div>

If you are healing a solid tank, then you can do most instances.  However, we get no cures, and in some zones, cures are far more important than healing, so we would not be able to heal in HoF.  Also, you can't really do any really tough named without a priest.  If that solid tank is you, then interrupts might be an issue.  Also, you'll want good group damage to shorten the fights.  But, for the most part, a priest is much better for anything even remotely challenging.<div></div>
