I am finding myself not using my Heroic Op, when I am soloing I normally have a system in what buttons I push and when. Like I always debuff/taunt first to debuff resists then go from there. My question so I can become better in my ways is, should I be using HO's more? Or does it not really matter? If I concentrate on activating my HO I fear I will not get the abilities I need most off in time. I like to solo yellow heroics up to ^^ with a win/lose ratio of 65% I would say, If i throw in HO's will it hinder me or help me out?

Thanks

It can only help. Depending on the HO, you can get a small big of extra dmg, an encounter stun, or Hero's Armor, which is a big mitigation buff. When solo I like to start off with casting blessing on myself. I then use a ranged art or bow pull+HO+Coil+AE taunt. No matter what HO you get, you'll have debuffed the mobs disease resist so the HO is just a bonus.

When I pull it will normally be a mob higher level than me so I will try and debuff then I go straight into casting blessing. At this time my health is draining so I cast my siphon life line while blessing is going off to bring health back online. Now If I go into a HO after the above, most of the c/a's are down awaiting re-cast. By the time they are ready to use again i will be about to re-cast blessing and start the whole process over again.

Maybe I should just start fighting lower lvl mobs i guess but near death experiences are great fighting a higher level mob, kinda makes you sit on the edge of the chair :smileyvery-happy:

Anyways thanks for your info

I've always found HOs typically only happen on accident in 'end game.' However, I do see that I can lock down aggro a lot tighter if I pull with fighter HO. Depending on the combo of the 3 spells you use, you can a) lock in aggro, b) lay out some high dmg.
