Can anyone tell me if the Siphon Hate AA ability is good, meh, or not worth it? The idea behind it sounds good, but the 3% makes me wonder if it's enough to do anything noticeable or not.<div></div>

Depends on how you play your SK. I personally love it and can tell you it does work. I was in the caster DPS group in Mistmoore Inner Sanctum and fighting one of the orange con epics. I ended up pulling agro about 2/3 through the fight without taunting or using death march. This was without a swash/assassin giving me their hate. This in turn helps keep agro off your casters. Just be prepared to FD yourself if you are not the MT hehe. This added agro is great if you MT raids or are the off tank for adds. I've tanked Lyceum and Labs multiple times without agro issues. There will always be a brigand/brawler/wizzie who will get agro once in a while, but that is to be expected. Keep in mind that the dirge and/or coercer hate buffs are equally important for keeping agro while tanking a raid. However, that extra 3% of the whole groups hate can make the difference between ice nova pulling agro and not pulling agro. I have 8 points in the passive hate gain from the STR line as well, and that also helps. With this passive hate and the siphon hate, you will absolutely be loved by instance groups. Pull a whole room, pop off some blue ae's and death march and go to town. Reallly the only way I wouldn't recommend the siphon hate is if you mostly solo. <div></div>

Thank you, this is the kind of feedback I wanted to know. I was really curious if it decreased the group's hate enough to be beneficial to the other 5 members and if it was enough of a boost to make aggro management easier.<div></div>

For short fights it's not going to help that much. However, the longer a fight lasts, the more hate it will generate for you. In a long raid fight, you'll get a cut of hate from all the heals, debuffs, and DPS of your group mates which adds up to a lot of hate over time. I'm hooked personally and im very glad to have such a tool at my disposal. Combine this with reaver line, and it makes tanking all the better when you can boost your lifetaps, and thus increase your survivability. <div></div>
