<DIV>Hi im a 26sk with 22 aa i believe and want advice  on what lines to go down for the best performance while soloing heroic named. I  plan to solo/quest most my  gaming time  since my playtime  is most likely to hectic to group. EQ2 so  far  has been a  wonderful game  for  this and i  loved how  i was able to solo all the named in wailing caverns while they were still  green  and get the  achievement exp/loot off them and would like  to be  able to  do this with as many dungeon/named/quests as possible. So to make myself  as  powerful for  my  lvl  as possible  im locking  my exp usually  25-50% in till i get all the quests/named i can completed for max aaxp. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Atm I have  4-4-8 int which  i really like  since it increases survivibility +dps. And  I have  4-1 sta  with 1 unassigned im  not digging  sta atm since hammer ground so far seems so weak. I was  going sta for the survivability increase  + melee crits but i got to thinking and melee crits dont  sound that good. I  believe with 8 melee  crit im  only gonna have 25% chance  to crit? and  crits in EQ2 are only like what 150%dmg? I'm starting to wonder if i should go str  instead of sta now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm also wondering if I should instead  start dropping all my aa into reaver line since my survivability is my main weakness and having  more lifetaps would probably  be better  than haste/crits etc for my surviviability, i dont care too much  about grinding speed  since i  lvl much  faster then aa already. Well thanks for  the comments in advance. </DIV>

<P>First off... Dont feel you even need AAs to complete your goal. A SK is quite capable already. All the way to lvl 55 I have had no problem taking down any named mob or heroric group before it went grey (cept epics of course.) Compared to many I have few AAs (dont even have EOF yet) so I consider the raw SK as fully functional without worring about the most uber AA layout.</P> <P>As to which ones to take, its trully matter of playstyle. Ya would have hard time of beating the int line. I wouldnt even consider dropping it. Many are obessed with hitpoints so will disagree with this.. but I think for what you want to do the str line way to go. SKs dont need as much hitpoints as other tanking classes due to our lifetaps. Our major downpoint is the somewhat low DPS, so anything to raise it becomes gravy.</P>

I am doing almost exactly the same thing you are except I'm not going after nameds for AA, I'm soloing/doing quests and have hit 35th recently. I took the lifetap AA's first, put a few points in the INT line and some in the taunts already. I havent fought many ^^^ heroic nameds but I can solo a ^ yellow of any level and still be at full health, havent been brave/stupid enough to try a low orange yet, havent needed to. The reaver line has really helped me.

<P>solo with reaver you can get close to refilling your entire HP pool in one fight (depending on how many mobs you have)  I'm not just counting reaver in that, but assuming you have done some of the lines to get to reaver(coil tap, blessing boost, drain timer....  I have skipped leech touch so far myself.  it's too "emergency! emergency!" for me...  Just don't get in emergencies...) plus blessing, plus aura... and a couple lifetap procs (inno cloak, vampiric handles and shods... other stuff)</P> <P>it's not an insignificant amount of healing.</P>

I've actually found it faster to heal by killing greens, and some low blues, rather than standing there looking stupid while it regens naturally.
