I was using it last night as well (Crushbone server), trying to bring up my skill level.  burned 22 stacks so far of tin arrows shooting fish in SS with an elm bow and only up to 260/350.  Anyone know if using a higher level bow or arrows makes skilling up faster?  Or if shooting higher level mobs makes skill ups faster?

Grey fish in SS is ezer. I bought a 4  sec gray bow and a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] load of ammo and watched [Removed for Content] while it lvled up.

<P>I did the same thing used a fast bow, made about 2k arrows and stood on the edge of an isle in Everfrost and shot sharks for a couple of hours. </P> <P>I have had no issue using my bow since Lu 30, just my diety pet.</P>

I started off with Tin arrows as per people's recomendation. and bought this lvl 62 treasured bow on the broker with INT, nice little bow for leveling. I was critting for 32 often with tin, switched to t6 arrows to try it out and started hitting for 900 on yellow raid mobs (missed and was parried half the time) with my ranged still pretty low (servers are down so can't check name of bow or skill level).</P> <P>I don't think you will level faster but you WILL hit more and higher with higher tier arrows and (maybe?)bows.</P> <P> </P>
