- Shadowknight: Reaver: Increased health gain to 2.5% of maximum health per hit. Reaver is now affected by Taunts. From <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tup&message.id=162" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tup&message.id=162</a>Hmm? So one 1% per tick, 2.5% gain per spell or taunt cast? Am I reading this right? Looks a lot more useful. I may consider respeccing.<div></div>

The way i read the aggretion thing is that being in deffensive we will get a boost to a new skill cald aggretion, it will be just like the increase to defense that we already get. I don't think it will be some cure all, hold agro like it is nothing type fix. I think that it will make hate gain more transperent. I will still hold onto my hate and agro aa options until I see for myself what the changes are.

I do believe he was refering to the resist reduction AA's. as the introduction of the aggression skill was due to mobs being very resistant to taunts.personaly tempted to throw my decay points a jump to the left and get reaver again. can't say siphon armorment is that useful tbh, and is often buggy (buff randomly dropping its effect, but still being maintainted, as well as greying out regualr pledge even when siphon armorment is dropped).still doubt reaver is much help for raiding, but its [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] fun for soloing half of lopin plains at once.

Aye, the change helped to benefit uber SKs more. Before change, uber sk is worse off than casual SK cuz of more hp penalty for same healed. Now, after the change, uber sk is better off than casual SK cuz of more hp healed per cast. 1.5% gap is getting bigger as your hp goes up and up as supposed to. Good change.. All the sudden, hp adornments are more attractive heh. Heal crits from INT line now is more attractive to work with 2.5%..<p>Message Edited by Nocifer Deathblade on <span class=date_text>12-13-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:38 AM</span>

Its just that, in the middle and low range, 3% would probably have been a better number.</div>

<DIV>Anyway, i think we got the crappiest new AP tree of all classes with EOF.</DIV> <DIV>For instance, look at wizards. They get some really buttkicking new end abilities, like manaburn. the old EQ1 spell, where they can burn off all their mana in one single nuke and get 5 points of damage for every point of power they have left. My friend who is a lvl 68 wizard with pretty crappy gear critted 32k damage yesterday with it on a raid mob.</DIV> <DIV>Imagine what a full out fabled wiz can get.</DIV>

<DIV>he could get alot more than 32k damage if he spent his mana on his normal nukes. manaburn doesnt seem so great.. I play both an sk and paladin, and have to say the sk AAs are alot better, and more fun. The paladin AAs pretty much blow with the exception of shield block.

<P>[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] you dubbs, and others like you for taking my name for their character.</P> <P>On a more serious note, I'll agree with you about the paly AA's. When I used to play, I had a paly that I betrayed to SK when the option was made available to high level players (he had been resting in un-use at that point). Now that I'm back (sans old account) I made both a paly and an SK to play and check out the new AA's. After having looked at both of them, the SK options definetley struck me as the far more interesting and enjoyable options, making me even more sad for no longer having my old account. The new paly AA's just seem lackluster in general.</P> <P>Rrinn</P>

Of all my classes SK aa lines seem the most useful. Swashy one is next with the aoe immunity being useful and the soon to nerfed inspirations AA. On my illusionist, templar and dirge i have unspent points mostly because I couldnt be bothered placing the points as it didnt look to make much difference.

My 70 toons are the SK, an assassin, and a mystic. Not even close and by far the SK tree is the best of the three. I actually have to think about what I want and will get the most benefit from on the SK. The other ones....well, gotta put em somewhere but... /shrug.

<DIV>with the holidays and whatnot, we've been a little shortstaffed at SM, and have been 3group +/- 2 people on a lot of raid instances lately. Since i took reaver they've been putting me in the back of the bus in the group that lacks buffs and heals, and I seem to do ok soaking up some of the damage from a stray aoe, or picking myself back up from orange. healers help me out when they can, but its nice to be able to do a lot of it for myself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>solo, reaver is SUPER. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I thought about siphon mit, but they're going to take the ability to cast it on non fighters away anyways, that was always a bug...</DIV>

symetry bonuses seem to give quite a nice return for reaver, i tap for about 267, really like the changes <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

HP now become valuable item for SK. More HP we get, the better heal we will receive off reaver. I wonder if +heal adornments will help reaver as well? Heal crits from INT line now more useful for us. Gotta give up some KOS aas to get heal crits grr..</P>
