http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=307490108Theres me! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Anyways... I am an old charcter I guess. I played in beta, played after release for a little while, and stopped playing for quite some time. With the release of EoF, I figured everyone said it was fun (they were right!), and also that it came with all 3 expansions so that was a lot of content for $40. So, heres my question. In EQ1, I am sort of used to being a high end SK, but I dont quite know how to get there in EQ2. IF anyone could take a peek at my char and maybe give me gear sugestions, etc. That would be great! <div></div>

<DIV>Get mastercrafted or better gear, get your skills to ad3 or better (if you cant afford all you need to pick different ones depending on your playstyle). And go do some discovery runs for AAs. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Getting the spell crits will help you out like nothing else. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (That is 4/4/8 in the int line).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, for ad3/m1, in a group you will want your taunts and blessing line upgraded first.</DIV> <DIV>Solo, you want your liftetaps first, and then debuffs/damage. The blessing line is your bread and butter. </DIV>

<div></div><div></div>I have a good amount of AA, but I have put it directly into the SK tree and not the crusader tree. I don't think you can see it yet in people's profiles yet can you? I was planning on finishing the Reaver line (almost done now), and then going to the crusader stuff. Question, by  4/4/8 do you mean max out the first 3 skills in the int line? Also, as far as ad3/m1. The reason I leave most of them as a1 is because at 40, I am still getting upgrades. Do you sugest not doing that?<div></div><p><span class="time_text"></span></p><p>Message Edited by Naelael on <span class=date_text>12-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:16 AM</span>

<DIV>If you find yourself tearing through the levels pretty quickly, leave them at adept 1, the cost of upgrading just isn't worth the time it takes to level in my opinion. Once you hit lvl 56, those and above are the ones you want to make sure you get to adept 3 or better.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as the 4/4/8 reference, it's an indicator of how many to put in each tier of AA skill.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For instance: str, sta, int 4/4/8 means to put 4 points into the first of each of the lines, 4 into the second, and 8 into the third. For crusaders, this is fairly typical for dps, as it gives you a max crit chance with melee, spells, and a haste. I've heard that useing this setup can be real nice with a good one handed axe and a symbol in the offhand to make use of the item-specific skills the second tier has.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as the SK specific tree, I'm clueless and havne't played with it since I came back.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rrinn</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
