wasnt in the other thread so I thought I would ask. do parsers show things like if a mob had an aoe heat attack? or DD divine magic spell? and is there more than one parser out there for EQ2 ?<div></div>

<P>there are a few parsers out there. i know of Combat Stats, EQ Companion, and ACT. ACT is by far the best i've used. It will show all attacks a mob makes, who it hits, how hard it hits those people, what type of damage they were hit with, and the interval between recasts.</P> <P> </P> <P><A href="http://home.maine.rr.com/eqaditu/ACT/" target=_blank>http://home.maine.rr.com/eqaditu/ACT/</A></P> <P> </P> <P>the newest version automatically parses every encounter (encouter splitting determined by settings), but also keeps an "ALL" parse for all damage done in a zone.</P>

what i'm wondering, i'd like to find a parser that parses the encounter as well, then we can collect encounter survivability tables verses my dps and con color etc. it's alot of data but i bet the community could come up with a standard measurement to measure an encounters overall score, so regardless of level or equipment, you can compare your score to the encounters, to determine your chances of survival. i think it would be a cool tool.
