I have to tell you, not only is SK the most fun char, its the one that also confuses me the most I solo/duo with dirge mostly, and recently ive started experiemnting with def vs off stance, 1h vs 2h etc and come to the conclusion i generally solo better in Off stance with 1h + shield. But i just respecced the few normal AA i got into Int (4, 4 ,1 so far) and im curious as to the nuke we get with symbol.... Is it worth losing the shield when soloin/duoin for the extra nuke? It looks kinda high damage even with ranks, and its 20sec recast.

Its not vs - keep both.Drag your symbol and your shield to hotkeys, near Leg's Smite. Equip symbol, start casting Smite, equip Shield = best of both worlds. The damage isn't so wonderful at higher levels when your other spells have grown a bit, but its still worthwhile. Some swear by 2 handers, me I always have Sword & Shield except for the couple of seconds to swap in a symbol just for the smite. What I do mess with is stances - as offensive as you can get away with for the mobs you are fighting / number & competence of priests. Its MUCH slower to swap in a sword & shield & go to defensive stance when things get nasty if you have a 2 hander equipped, and the extra damage is marginal - or in my case with a fabled 1 handers and only legendary 2 handers - non-existentp.s. 2 stance keys, Smite, Symbol & Shield are good to keep very close together

Message Edited by Antryg Mistrose on 11-28-2006 12:10 AM

Not sure if the casting bar continues tho...
