<DIV>hi all, im fairly new to the SK, just dinged 29 recently. But i noticed that my SK seems to consume mana extremely fast, compared to my friend who plays a paladin. He's about 3 lvls below me and has about 350 less mana than me when Im in offensive stance, but I seem to consume mana twice as fast as him and he claims to be using all his combat moves whenever they are up as well as his heals on me when im tanking. Mostly we are on downtime because of my mana and hes still hovering 60%+ all the time. Does this problem persist in the later levels? I know gear is a factor, but I have my offensive stance mastered and I have alot of int(~190-200), with fairly decent gear (mostly mastercraft but a few non). Any insight on this topic would be great.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Christie - 29 Shadowknight</DIV> <DIV>BlackBurrow</DIV>

<div></div>Actually, with the EoF combat update, SKs are now based on str/int, not str/wis. In either case, str is the primary stat, so you'll get the most bang for your buck there, although with the switch to str/int, there is some sort of bonus for having both above a certain threshhold, but I don't know what that threshhold is.<div></div><p>Message Edited by KamidariTuibumbi on <span class=date_text>11-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:00 PM</span>

Get some FT gear, or get a play strat that doesnt drain all your power the first 5 secs of a fight. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> You will do a bit less dps, but have no downtimes, more kills per hour that way. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

You should at least do the Manastone heritage as fast as possible <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>I remember at certain lvls I had power problems too. I looked at all my spells and just tried to use the ones with the best dmg/power ratio. Also, are you waiting after each spell cast for your weapon to hit before casting next spell. This way you will do more damage, from autoattack hitting more, and will use a lil less power.</DIV> <DIV> One thing you can do for the downtime is get drink for your lvl that gives the most power and get some power totems to help your out of combat power regen.</DIV>
